Joining row: Fold work in half,
Wrong side (WS) together (tog), so
first and last rows meet. Working
through both thicknesses, in back
loops of last row and remaining
(rem) loops of foundation ch: Ch 1.
1 sl st in each st across. Fasten off.
Weave yarn through sts at end of
rows on one edge of Pumpkin, pull
tight to close bottom and secure
on WS.
Stuff Pumpkin.
Weave yarn through sts at end
of rows on rem (top) edge of
Pumpkin. Insert 4" [10 cm] long
stick in opening, leaving 3" [7.5 cm]
outside for stem. Pull yarn tight to
close opening around stick and tie
off. Pull yarn tails inside Pumpkin.
