Opportunity to Give Back The INCOSE-WMA chapter is running a raffle event for attendees at their regular chapter meetings to win one of three prizes, to be awarded at the end of year Holiday Party. As part of this raffle, other than attending chapter meetings, we are offering an opportunity for members\attendees to purchase extra raffle tickets by making a contribution to the INCOSE FOUNDATION. For SEDC, if you make a donation of $5 you will receive 3 tickets to enter in the raffle. Raffle prizes are: First Prize: A Droid Tablet; Second Prize: $200 towards local restaurant; Third Prize: Credit for INCOSE annual dues. All donations will be recorded with a receipt for individual acknowledgement. Look for opportunities to donate at lunch breaks and the evening reception on May 15th. The INCOSE Foundation is a charitable organization with the stated goal of advancing the development and image of systems engineering through funded scholarships, research, and international forums. The Foundation received its 501(c)(3) exempt status from the IRS on 30 September 2005. This enables all U.S. donors to claim a charitable deduction on their annual income tax submissions. The Foundation is a separate legal entity from INCOSE but both organizations are closely aligned in philosophy, strategic directions, and values.
