Week 3: System Software (Operating Systems) - Explain OS functions; differentiate between


Windows, Linux, Android.

Week 4: Application Software - Define word processors, spreadsheets, graphics tools;


identify uses.

Week 5: Internet Safety & Digital Footprint - Explain cyberbullying, online privacy; safe
browsing practices.

Week 6: Intermediate Word Processing - Insert headers/footers, page numbers, and


references.

Week 7: Spreadsheet Formulas & Functions - Apply formulas for budgeting, averages, and
grades.

Week 8: Graphics Design Basics - Create posters or simple digital artwork using
Paint/Canva.

Week 9: Introduction to HTML Basics - Write simple HTML tags (<p>, <h1>, <img>).

Week 10: Careers in ICT (Deep Dive) - Explore ICT careers such as data analyst, web
developer.

Week 11-12: Revision & Examination - Review and exams.

Second Term Scheme of Work


Week 1: Revision of First Term Work - Quick recap and quizzes.

Week 2: Computer Networking Basics - Define LAN, WAN, Internet; explain advantages.

Week 3: Data Transmission - Explain wired vs wireless; bandwidth, modem, router.


Week 4: Spreadsheet Charts & Graphs (Advanced) - Use bar charts, line graphs; interpret
data visually.

Week 5: Database Concepts - Define records, fields, tables; examples of databases.

Week 6: Practical Database Work - Create simple tables using MS Access/Excel.

Week 7: HTML and Webpage Development - Build a basic webpage with headings, text, and
images.

Week 8: Multimedia Tools - Create/edit short video or audio clips.

Week 9: Cybersecurity (Viruses & Anti-Virus Software) - Define malware; explain antivirus
functions.
