Phase- V
 APPLICANTS ALREADY ADMITTED IN THE 1ST PREFERENCE, ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR COUNSELING.
 APPLICANTS ADMITTED IN THE LOWER PREFERENCE, ARE ELIGIBLE FOR COUNSELING.
 APPLICANTS, SELECTED IN EARLIER PHASE BUT FAILED TO TAKE ADMISSION FOR A REASON WHATSOEVER ARE ELIGIBLE FOR
COUNSELING.
 APPLICANTS CALLED UP FOR COUNSELLING WITH THE MARKS OBTAINED IN RESPECTIVE HONOURS PAPER (PART-A) & OR THE MARKS
OBTAINED IN THE ENTRANCE TEST (PART-B) MENTIONED HEREUNDER WITH THIS NOTICE, ARE ONLY ELIGIBLE.
 SELECTION FOR ADMISSION WILL BE DONE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PREFERENCEOF THE COURSE ASGIVEN BY THE CANDIDATE.
 THE ADMISSION OF CANDIDATES GRADUATING FROM A UNIVERSITY OTHER THAN UNIVERSITY OF CALCUTTA WILL BE PUT ON HOLD
SUBJECT TO CLEARANCE FROM EQUIVALENCE DEPARTMENT OF UNIVERSITY OF CALCUTTA.
 CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED TO BE READY FOR ONLINE PAYMENT ON THE DAY OF COUNSELLING, IF SELECTED FOR
ADMISSIONIN CU DEPARTMENTS.
 CNDIDATES, IF SELECTED FOR ADMISSION IN CU AFFILIATED COLLEGE, ARE REQUIRED TO CONTACT THE RESPECTIVE COLLEGE FOR
ADMISSION AND PAYMENT PROCESS IMMEDIATELY.
 CANDIDATES MUST REPORT AT THE VENUE AN HOUR BEFORE THE COUNSELLING TIME.
 CANDIDATES MUST BRING THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS AND PAPERS AS MENTIONED HERE UNDER.
 CANDIDATES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE VENUE FOR ANY PURPOSE (i.e. XEROX etc) ON CEINSIDE THE VENUE.
 CANDIDATES MAY CARRY WITH THEM TIFFIN AND WATER, FOR THEIR CONVENIENCE, INCASE THE COUNSELLING PROLONGS.

The applicants obtaining the percentage of Honors marks (Part-A) and or the Marks of Entrance Test (Part-B) mentioned against
each subject of different categories (UR, SC, ST, PWD, OBC-A , OBC-B and EWS), are requested to report at the office of the Secretary
of the respective campuses for admission on the date and time mentioned below in the TABLE FORMAT.

The candidates are also requested to bring:
1. A printed copy of the online generated Application Form.
2. Original Hall Ticket (STUDENT COPY) of respective subject (for Part-B).
3. All Semesters/all years MARK SHEETS in ORIGINAL.
4. SC/ST/OBCA/OBCB/PWD/EWS certificates in ORIGINAL (if applicable).
5. Format of Affidavits (Annexure I&II) downloaded from admission portal and duly filled in and signed by deponents.
6. Self attested photo copies of all semesters/year’s Mark sheets.

7. Self attested photo copies of proof of SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PWD/EWS candidate (if applicable)

General Rules:
 Selection will be made strictly in order of merit as per percentage of Honours marks (Part-A) & or the marks as per
result of the Entrance Test (Part-B) subject to availability of vacant seat(s).

 The choices /preferences submitted by the candidates at the time of application will be processed and
seat will be provisionally allotted in the order of merit.

 Candidates must be present at the time of Counseling.

 The University reserves the right to cancel admission, incase candidates DO NOT fulfill eligibility criteria or furnish any
false or insufficient information or documents.

 No claim on the pretext of ignorance or over looking will be entertained.

 A good number of seats in Bengali & Commerce are lying vacant in the CU affiliated colleges.
