ADJECTIVE HUNT:

Instructions: The teacher shows pictures of a dog, apple,


and house. Learners describe what they see.

INDICATOR 2: Ensured the positive use of ICT to facilitate


the teaching and learning process.

Annotation:

1. The teacher used interactive powerpoint presentation


in presenting the activity.
2. Instant onscreen feedback, displaying the answer
immediately on the computer’s screen.

objects like fruits (Science: properties) or toys (Math:
shapes).

Annotation:

The teacher integrated content from Science by having


learners describe the physical properties of fruits (e.g.,
color, texture, taste) and from Math through shapes (e.g.,
round, square, long). This cross-curricular approach
deepened learners’ understanding of adjectives as
descriptive words used in different contexts.

Indicator 2 (ICT): Optional: use PowerPoint with hidden


pictures or interactive quiz.

Annotation:

The teacher used a PowerPoint presentation with hidden


pictures to engage learners in identifying objects through
descriptive clues. This positive use of ICT enhanced visual

Very good! Adjectives help us make our sentences more


interesting and clear.
They tell us how something looks, feels, smells, tastes, or
sounds.

Indicator 1 – Apply knowledge of content within and across

Annotation:
The teacher demonstrates a strong understanding of
content and pedagogy by clearly explaining what
adjectives are, their function in sentences, and providing
relatable examples. The teacher connects the concept to
real-life contexts (appearance, taste, sound, etc.), helping
pupils grasp meaning effectively.
Application The teacher will group the pupils into three groups and
assign a leader. Each group will receive a cartolina and an
envelope with strip of papers inside. The pupils will think of
a word that describe the following pictures in their activity
sheet.

Choose inside the envelope the words that describe the


person, place, thing, and animal. Then paste it beside the
picture.
