1. Pursuant to Chapter III (National Health Insurance Program) of Republic


Act 11223 titled AN ACT INSTITUTING UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE FOR ALL
FILIPINOS, PRESCRIBING REFORMS IN THE HEALTH CARE SYSTEM, AND
APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR and the MEMORANDUM OF
UNDERSTANDING(MOU) between PhilHealth and DepEd on May 9,
2025,this Office, through the School Governance and Operations Division-
School Health and Nutrition Unit adopts mechanisms necessary for PhilHealth
registration and consultation on October 9, 2025 (Batch 1) and October 10, 2025
(Batch 2) at 3rd floor SDO Conference Hall.
2. The PhilHealth YAKAP Program is an enhanced primary care benefit
package under the Universal Healthcare Law (RA 11223). PhilHealth YAKAP,
Yaman ng Kalusugan Program, is the government’s heartfelt pledge to every
Filipino family. This program is a revitalization of the Konsulta Package and
requires members to register with an accredited PhilHealth-accredited primary
care provider. Its main goal is to provide preventive care to curb financial
hardship related to illness. It offers free consultations, access to 75 essential
medicines and up to ₱20,000 worth of outpatient medicines annually, 13
essential lab tests, and coverage for six types of cancer screenings to promote
preventive care and improve access to healthcare services for all Filipinos.
3. Attached is the schedule of personnel, together with their families for
PhilHealth registration and consultation. (Enclosure no. 01).
4. Travel and other incidental expenses of the participants during the
conduct of this activity shall be charged against MOOE subject to usual
accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
5. Immediate and widest dissemination of this memorandum is desired.
