RESOLUTION NO. 008 - 2025
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENTS OF THE PUBLIC RELATIONS
AND TECHNICAL COMMITTEE OF THE COLLEGE OF ARTS AND HUMANITIES -
STUDENT GOVERNMENT ACADEMIC YEAR 2025-2026, GRANTING ALL THE
POWERS, FUNCTIONS, AND AUTHORITY AS MAY BE DEFINED BY THE UNIVERSITY
STUDENT GOVERNMENT TINIGUIBAN CONSTITUTION AND HOUSE RULES OF THE
COLLEGE OF ARTS AND HUMANITIES - STUDENT GOVERNMENT.

WHEREAS, the 2023 University Student Government Constitution, Article XIV of the
College Student Government, Section 5, paragraph b, provides that the College Legislative
Department shall formulate resolutions and acts, provided they are not inconsistent with this
constitution and the resolutions and acts formulated by the Senate, applicable only within their
respective college;
WHEREAS, the 2023 University Student Government Constitution, Article XIV of the
College Student Government, Section 5, paragraph d, states that the general provision of the
College Legislative Department is to pass resolutions approving the appointment of the Executive
Staff by the College Governor;
WHEREAS, the 2023 University Student Government Constitution, Article XIV of the
College Student Government, Section 2, paragraph e, states that the College Student Government
Public Relations Office shall disseminate information, announcements, or important messages
from the College Executive Department to the members of the College and make formal
correspondence with the Public Relations Officer of the Executive Department;
WHEREAS, the House Rules of the College of Arts and Humanities - Student
Government, Rule III, Section 1, paragraph e, states that the Public Relations Office is responsible
for disseminating information, managing public relations, and maintaining communication
channels with the student body; Technical Affairs Officers are responsible for creating graphic
designs, layouts, and other digital media for the student government; and Documentation Officers
are responsible for documenting all student government activities, projects, and affairs;
WHEREAS, due to the student government’s activities and affairs throughout the
academic year, as well as the necessity for the dissemination of information, announcements, or
important messages from the College Executive Department to the members of the college, digital
media for student government, and documentation of the organization’s activities, projects, and
affairs, the newly appointed Public Relations and Technical Committee will be responsible for
effective communication and promotion of the organization’s initiatives and activities;
WHEREAS, due to the student government’s activities and affairs throughout the
academic year, as well as the necessity for the dissemination of information, announcements, or
important messages from the College Executive Department to the members of the college,
digital media for student government, and documentation of the organization’s activities,
projects, and affairs, the newly appointed Public Relations Committee will be responsible for
effective communication and promotion of the organization’s initiatives and activities;
WHEREAS, the Public Relations and Technical Committee Officers appointed are as
follows: Kiel Señorin as Public Relations and Technical Director, Frederick G. Bueno, Hannah
Camille A. Baaco, Justine Jacob G. Biogos, Shyr Krisna A. Catingub, and Matthea T. Basanes as
Public Relations and Technical Officers, and Christian Loid A. Caro, and Jay B. Pandeñola;

WHEREAS, the aforementioned College of Arts and Humanities — Student Government
Officers of this college and institution are authorized to be the Public Relations Committee
through this resolution presented and deliberated by the College of Arts and Humanities —
Student Representatives, certified to be duly adopted by the First Representative, approved by the
Governor, and noted by the Adviser and the College Dean;
BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, that the above-mentioned names will be the
official Legislative Secretariat Committee of the College of Arts and Humanities - Student
Government, shall have all the functions and affairs of this student government, most especially
the records and documents pertaining to the organization during the entire academic year of 2025-
2026;
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished to the respected
College of Arts and Humanities Dean, Atty. Rhodel S. Magrata, College of Arts and Humanities –
Student Government Adviser, Christine D. Silva, College of Arts and Humanities – Student
Government Officers, and all of the College of Arts and Humanities of Palawan State University
for their information and appropriate action.

I HEREBY CERTIFY the correctness of the above Resolution No. 008-2025 adopted by the 46th
College Student Government – Student, College of Arts and Humanities, Palawan State University
during its 2nd Special Legislative Session held on October 15, 2025, at the College of Arts and
Humanities - College Student Government Office.
