Working Format (Participant + Scoring Sheet)

This questionnaire is designed to measure three personality traits: Impulsiveness,


Venturesomeness, and Empathy. Please read each statement carefully and circle either ‘Yes’ or
‘No’ according to how it generally applies to you. There are no right or wrong answers. Please
answer all items honestly.

Scoring Sheet (For Researcher Use)


Each subscale is scored separately. Assign 1 point for each ‘Yes’ response to items belonging to
that subscale (reverse code where indicated). Higher scores indicate greater presence of the trait
measured.

Subscale Item Numbers Interpretation


Impulsiveness (Imp) 1, 2(R), 4, 5, 7, 10 Acts quickly, difficulty delaying gratification
Venturesomeness (Vent) 3, 6, 9 Enjoys taking risks and new experiences
Empathy (Emp) 8 Sensitivity to others’ emotions and perspectives

Note: (R) indicates that the item should be reverse-scored.
