An Intuitive Symbols Guide
Symbols can be found in almost every culture, religion, and school of
thought throughout the world.
Although the term "symbol" has had different meanings throughout
history, it is derived from the Greek language meaning "token" or
evidence of something changing.
And that's what symbols actually are.
They depict a structure of a manifestation, expression, or
phenomenon under the form of a short or complex representation.
This depiction contains a certain amount of information as well as an
energy print.
At least, this is the more literal definition.
When used in a spiritual context, symbols represent keys that open
doors towards different types of energies, information, and entities.
Symbols bridge the physical and spiritual
worlds.
Many spiritual practitioners look at symbols as positive, negative, or
even neutral. This is a general and somewhat superficial approach.
And we're guilty of the same mistake because it's human nature to
label the essence of symbols under these three mainstream levels.
This happens because we're omitting one simple yet fundamental
fact:
©ReikiScoop 3
While all symbols do have particular vibrations and energy levels,
they are also a physical, energetic, and spiritual representation of a
concept! Thus, we can't state they are evil nor good.
Some connect to beneficial energies while others to low-vibrational
ones. Still, the symbols that connect to beneficial energies can be
used with a reversed effect by adding or changing the symbol's
structure and the intention it is used for.
The same can happen for the symbols that can connect to low-
vibrational energies. Sometimes they can be transformed to channel
beneficial energy.
In other words, symbols are, most of the time, neutral. Of course, it
depends on how one chooses to use them.
A Real Example Of A Beneficial Symbol Used
For Evil
This can be a bit controversial. But, for the sake of a greater
understanding, this notion may be summed up as follows:
In the Hindu and Buddhist religions, the swastika symbolized certain
spiritual aspects of life and death. Its Sanskrit meaning is roughly
translated as "helpful for your well-being." Its origins date back
thousands of years, and it derives from another high-vibrational
symbol - Antahkarana.
The latter can be used for multiple healing purposes as well as
helping one connect their subconscious (inner-self) with their
conscious part (mental-self) harmoniously.
But, the swastika's shape was later changed to control and
manipulate the masses. The colors red, black, and white, together
©ReikiScoop 4
with the symbol's excessive presence, created the ideal design for
infiltrating one's subconscious. From there on, any message became
second nature to most people bearing this symbol. Not knowing how
to protect themselves, most became subdued, and their free will was
crushed.
Simply put, people are able to attribute and/or change the energy
level of a symbol towards a specific purpose.
4 Basic Guidelines
When you change or modify the structure of a symbol, along with
the intention of use, it can serve an entirely different purpose. Of
course, this action, along with everything in life, comes with an
outcome - a consequence.
Some spiritual practitioners base their entire knowledge and
evolution on symbols, while others don't pay much attention to
them.
I believe they are quite useful for spiritual practices. However, true
knowledge and development come from self-reflection and
awareness.
Therefore, here are 4 ideas that can serve as basic guidelines moving
forward.
1. Remember that no one symbol is "better" than another. Some
symbols link to various manifestations of the universal energy,
so each may have a distinct purpose.
2. It's challenging to figure out a symbol's complete set of
characteristics. Some, if not all, of the symbols included in this
guide, fall into this category. They may have several properties
©ReikiScoop 5
that are yet unknown. It is up to us to discover them through
meditation and other techniques.
3. It's necessary to understand the form, significance, and
fundamental energetic functions of a symbol in order to better
connect and integrate its essence. Although this may be true,
knowing all of the symbols in existence does not guarantee that
you will be a better spiritual practitioner. You reach the highest
level when you don't require tokens, talismans, or lucky charms.
4. Only use symbols on others after obtaining their
agreement/consent. Otherwise, you're committing energetic
aggression, which has severe karmic effects.
I'm sure we've all had times when we wished we had control over
other people's thoughts, but true wisdom comes from releasing your
grip and merging with the universal energy.
Being at peace is far superior to being
correct.

Types Of Symbols
The Graphic Representation
Some symbols are used to create sentences and messages in writing.
Ancient languages such as Egyptian, Mayan, or Easter Island scripts
are an example of this category.
Graphic forms of these languages were used rather than words to
convey a concept or deliver a complex message. These symbols are
also known as hieroglyphs, and there are still some that cannot be
interpreted.
The Artistic Representation
In this situation, the artist creates one image or a sequence of
symbols based on a concept or notion. This is prevalent largely in
Asia, particularly China and Japan.
The root of their letters and writing is called Kanji and dates back
more than 3000 years. Through this form of expression, the Chinese
and Japanese would summarize a phrase within one harmonious
symbol. That is why even now, many Kanji scrolls are highly sought
after.
The Practical Use
These are symbols we can use in rituals, meditations, Reiki, Qi-Gong,
Tarot, etc. Often, their role is to help people through therapy. This
degree entails the use of symbols that are not only representations
of spiritual ideas, but actual tokens that can be utilized to cleanse the
mental and emotional bodies.
©ReikiScoop 7
In order to utilize their entire spiritual and energetic potentials, most
practitioners in this category obtain attunements or initiations on the
relevant symbols.
•••
NOTE: This handbook will start with a presentation of the essential
knowledge for the Reiki symbols. Afterward, there will be a list of
lesser-known symbols that don’t particularly belong to a Reiki
system. Those can be accessed through meditation, drawing, or
chanting. You can also print them out and place them where you feel
they are most beneficial. Each symbol is defined through its known
properties and my own experience with each of them.
How Reiki Symbols Function
Reiki is one of the most efficient spiritual practices that allow you to
place the emotional, energetic, and spiritual bodies in a state of
healing. Moreover, Reiki is a slow but sure catalyst for spiritual
growth. It helps you raise your awareness of your inner-self, higher-
self, and the world around you.
Each symbol in the Reiki systems has a purpose, and, as previously
stated, there is none superior to another. Each connects to different
vibrations, energies, and entities. All Reiki symbols are considered
beneficial, but as we know by now, it depends on how practitioners
decide to implement them.

Reiki Symbols General Uses
• Cleansing energetic structures such as chakras and their
generated fields;
• Opening and aligning the chakras;
• Removing mental and emotional blockages;
• Opening your mental field towards new perspectives regarding
the physical and spiritual world;
• Opening dimensions to send energy through distance and time;
• Connecting to different entities such as angels or archangels.
• Grounding and abundance on all levels;
• Helping you connect to the healing energies of the Earth as well
as to the celestial ones;
Remember that whenever you use a Reiki symbol, you are accessing
a manifestation of the universal life force energy. Each of these
manifestations can be guided towards your inner healing and
spiritual development.
You are a channel through which this energy flows. Then, with the
help of the Reiki spirit guides, angels, or archangels that each symbol
connects to, you can manifest those elements into the physical
world.
I was once asked...
"Why do we need so many levels and Reiki systems if we have access
to such a strong flow of universal energy through the Reiki
attunement?"
Because each level and Reiki system can access a certain part of the
universal life force energy. This segment is directly correlated with
your level of understanding, vibration, and evolution at that point in
your life.
©ReikiScoop 9
We live in the physical plane. Therefore, we are tributary to the
physical laws. We need a gradual, step-by-step development, else the
amount of power would be too great and might create mental and
emotional havoc. Everything must be done in harmony.
That's why a small gap between attunements can help you better
assimilate and comprehend the energy and information received.
How To Activate The Reiki Symbols
Three elements help activate a symbol and bring its properties into
the physical realm. These are:
• Having the intention to activate it;
• Drawing and knowing what the symbol does;
• Pronouncing the symbol;
Each one has its own role. Let me explain:
Intention
Having a clear intention is the first step because it's a crucial element
of the Reiki practice. It sets the foundation for anything in life, not
just activating symbols.
Knowing why you are activating the symbol is very important. You
have a Reiki attunement that includes a connection to that
respective symbol. This means that you are the one guiding its
energetic structure according to a purpose.
For example, I activate a symbol in my palms to send that energy
through my hands during the self-treatment session. For an
©ReikiScoop 10
optimized activation, this clear intention is mandatory prior to
drawing the symbol.
Drawing
Some Reiki symbols are simple to draw, while others are a bit
challenging. Pay attention to the directions indicated at each.
Use your index finger (the most basic technique), or combine the
thumb, index, and middle fingers together. The latter is considered
to be the most powerful from an energetic standpoint.
Another option is to use the entire palm with your fingers kept
together. This depicts the merging of the elements that bring the
energy into the physical realm.
If you don't get it immediately, don't worry. It's possible to learn how
to make a pattern in time, but keep in mind that the layout's
accuracy isn't as important as knowing what it represents.
The more you understand how to utilize it and what it truly implies,
the stronger your spiritual token's link with you will become. This will
aid in the better integration of that symbol's structure into your
energetic fields, allowing for a deeper understanding of its meaning.
Pronunciation
When you pronounce the symbol's name three times while
activating it, its energy and properties will enter the physical world.
Furthermore, this procedure allows you to integrate its power into
your life.
Again, don't worry too much about misinterpreting the name or
forgetting a line or two. These don't have to be perfect. Your
intention is what matters as it sets the tone for the activation.

Usui Reiki Symbols
Usui Reiki Ryoho is the first Reiki system that was originally created
by Mikao Usui. It's usually the one most practitioners start with,
having basic yet powerful techniques that set the core fundamentals
for the rest of the systems.
There are 3 primary levels you can be attuned to in Usui Reiki.
According to some Reiki teachers, the third level is split into two sub-
levels, 3a, and 3b. Other schools consider 3b a distinct level that
should be called level 4.
Regardless, the split exists for a good reason.
The energy and information provided by each attunement are quite
remarkable. Therefore, it's critical to allow time between each
attunement to integrate and comprehend what has been received.
At Reiki Level 1
There are no symbols. This is a more telluric approach, where you'll
gradually learn how to detoxify your physical and emotional natures.
This is made possible by daily self-treatment practice.
From Reiki Level 2 And Beyond
You start receiving access to specific symbols. This implies that you
will be able to tap into and fully utilize their complete energetic and
spiritual potentials.
©ReikiScoop 12
Reiki symbols are the jewels but not the
practice itself.
Working with them every day will offer many insights, reveal hidden
potentials and help you tap into the expansive nature of the
universal life force energy.
Still, they are not magic talismans. They can ease a process, but your
intention and awareness are responsible for the changes in subtle
and physical realms.

CHO KU REI
©ReikiScoop 14
This is the first symbol you learn at Reiki level 2. It's probably the
most versatile of all Reiki symbols when it comes to its uses.
Cho Ku Rei has three main attributes:
• It helps cleanse a chakra, person, space, or object;
• It activates and opens an energetic structure, therefore
allowing it to heal over time;
• It also protects that structure, person, or object from unwanted
exterior influences;
Cho Ku Rei has the following uses:
1. Acts as a "light switch" and amplifies the energy of any other
Reiki symbol when used together in a sequence;
2. Drawing it on your chakras will cleanse, activate, and protect
them at an optimum level;
3. When used in self-treatment, it removes blockages and allows
the vital energy to flow more freely throughout your body;
4. Place it on the walls, ceiling, floor, corners, and middle of the
room to disperse residual energies and low-vibrational entities;
5. Activate it on food and drinks to cleanse them of residual
energies and provide a boost of positive energy;
6. Visualized or drawn between you and a person or angry animal
will create a barrier of energy that will keep away malevolent
intentions;
7. Cleanse your crystals or other objects by activating Cho Ku Rei
on them. This will also add a small field of protection;
8. If activated around your body, it will cleanse the trans-personal
chakras that are located outside the physical structure. Also, it
will have an overall cleansing effect on your aura;
9. Through the Reiki treatment, Cho Ku Rei can help lower anxiety
levels. For a more thorough calming effect, use the symbol on
the third eye chakra. Of course, always have the person's
consent;
©ReikiScoop 15
Cho Ku Rei represents one of the many spiritual keys towards
unlocking a higher consciousness. Therefore, meditating with this
symbol can unravel new ways of healing.
Cho Ku Rei Variations
3D Cho Ku Rei
When visualized or drawn as a coil around the body, it is
exceptionally good at protecting you from negative energies. It does
so by creating a robust energetic field around you. Start from the
head down, and slowly visualize/draw the coil descending to your
feet.
Reversed Cho Ku Rei
A reversed Cho Ku Rei will pull out the energy from a person, living
organism, or object.
It is very useful when applied to a hyper-energized person because of
its calming effect.
©ReikiScoop 16
SEI HE KI
©ReikiScoop 17
This is the second symbol you learn in the Usui Reiki system, known
as a mental-emotional token.
Sei He Ki has 3 main attributes:
• It helps open an energetic structure, allowing it to release its
residual energies;
• Brings harmony wherever it is activated;
• Balances and cleanses the mental-emotional structure;
Sei He Ki has the following uses:
1. Using Sei He Ki in your Reiki self-treatment considerably
enhances the flow of universal life force energy through your
body;
2. Activate it on your palms and chakras to enhance the health of
your energetic fields;
3. Constantly using it in self-treatment will help heal the mental
and emotional layers. This means that the energy behind this
symbol will help you bring the root of any mental or emotional
imbalance to the surface. From that point on, you can better
understand yourself and start healing low-vibrational energies
such as anxiety, fear, or depression.
4. Using a double Sei He Ki above the head (one on each brain
hemisphere) will balance the brain's energetic structure,
creating an aura of light and harmony.
5. Sei He Ki acts as a small gateway opener. Therefore whenever
you want to have a better connection with the universal life
force energy, use it above your head (on the Soul Star chakra)
to open the channel towards receiving divine wisdom and
information;
6. You can activate SHK together with CHK on each primary or
secondary charkas. This will bring a higher flow of energy
alongside harmony on all levels.
7. Activate Sei He Ki in the middle of a conflict that you find
yourself in. You will notice how everyone will gradually back
©ReikiScoop 18
down at one point. Their level of aggressiveness will diminish,
and ideally, the conflict will cease;
8. Sei He Ki can help release the negative energy of a painful area
and help restore it. Add Cho Ku Rei to enhance the effect. This
happens because the two symbols are a perfect combination
for regenerating damaged physical and energetic structures;
9. Activate it on walls, ceiling, floor corners, and the middle of the
room to energetically cleanse the room and bring harmony;
10. Placing a single Sei He Ki between you and a person
creates an almost instant emotional and energetic transfer
towards yourself. On the other hand, using Cho Ku Rei + Sei He
Ki, will create a harmonious interaction between both of you;
One essential use of Sei He Ki is that it can help remove addictions
and negative mental patterns.
By adding the correct intention within the daily Reiki self-treatment,
you can use Sei He Ki to gradually remove any addiction and replace
negative affirmations with positive ones.
TIP: when you practice the Reiki self-treatment, try to focus the
energy of this symbol on the third eye chakra and sacral area. This
will ease the overall process.

HON SHA ZE SHO NEN
©ReikiScoop 20
Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen is known as the Reiki distance symbol. Through
its complex "architecture," it enables the practitioner to transcend
time and space and send universal energy wherever and whenever
needed.
It’s the key that enables the energy of other symbols to transcend
time and space and heal the past, present, and future events.
Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen is quite a "game-changer." It offers a higher
vibration and helps unite the basic Reiki practice with a much more
complex approach. And, you can use in almost any Reiki system.
Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen has 3 main attributes:
• It opens a connecting gateway towards an event or person but
without energy transfer;
• It has the power of transitioning time and space in accordance
to only what we are allowed to see;
• Within this symbol, there are many keys that open gateways to
other manifestations of the universal life force energy;
Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen has the following uses:
1. To transfer energy in the present, past, future, or distance Hon
Sha Ze Sho Nen works very well with Cho Ku Rei and Sei He Ki.
The typical sequence is CKR + SHK + HSZSN, but it also works
backward with the same effect. What matters is the intention.
This combination can open a dimensional gateway together
with an energy transfer that can reach anyone at any time,
regardless of their physical location;
2. Healing your past means helping yourself solve certain karmic
debts. Remember to use this method only once or twice a week
for about 10 minutes per session. You want to heal past events,
not bring them back;
3. Build Reiki project for both material and spiritual "gifts. When
doing so, remember to add "for my greater good." This will
©ReikiScoop 21
ensure the optimum result for you, which can sometimes be
different than what you initially expected;
4. Use Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen to send energy to your future
endeavors. This energy will clear the path towards your
optimum result and make things a lot easier to handle when
those events unfold;
5. You can improve your relationships with partners, family, and
friends by sending energy to the present and future using the
same sequence as presented above. Just remember to add "for
the greater good of everyone involved;"
6. The sequence CKR + SHK + HSZSN can help you open or
enhance the connection to the universal source of life force
energy. If applied in the middle of the room, with the intention
of opening the gateway towards the universal energy, it will
gradually fill the space with pure energy;
7. Connect and channel information from higher spiritual
dimensions, including the Akashik Records. As a result, you will
receive the amount and quality of information suitable for your
current level of vibration and understanding;
8. Meditating on this symbol may offer new keys towards
unlocking different types of energies that can be used for
healing or spiritual growth;
9. You can activate this symbol together with Cho Ku Rei and Sei
He Ki on each chakra for deeper cleansing and activation. When
doing so, try to notice the difference in energy flow during self-
treatment;
10. Use Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen in meditation to connect to a
place that filled you with joy. This can be a real place or
somewhere in a higher dimension. Call upon your Reiki spirit
guide to support you in this journey;

SHIKA SO
©ReikiScoop 23
Although this symbol doesn't belong to the traditional Usui Reiki
system, its ability to help heal communication-related issues is
remarkable. Therefore Shika So is mainly used for the throat area
and throat chakra.
Shika So has 3 main attributes:
• Helps heal physical health-related issues at the throat level;
• Opens up your communication abilities;
• Stimulates the harmonious expression of your emotions;
Shika So has the following uses:
1. In self-treatment, Shika So will gradually help you express your
feelings and emotions, allowing for you to unclog at this level. It
works wonders with Cho Ku Rei and Sei He Ki, as these two
symbols help amplify the effect;
2. When used in self-treatment regularly, Shika So helps with a
variety of health issues like cervical spondylosis, pharyngitis,
laryngitis, hypo, and hyperthyroidism;
3. Consider Shika So in therapy to help remove stage-fright and
gain more confidence in social circumstances;
4. Together with Cho Ku Rei and Sei He Ki, it helps you avoid
seclusion, shyness and to develop self-confidence on an
emotional level;
5. This symbol can be activated on the throat chakra directly. It
will gradually cleanse and open it while enlarging its energetic
field. This process will slowly improve the throat area's health;
6. When activated within the center of a room, Shika So will
enhance the need for expression and communication;
7. When placed between you and another person, Shika So will
support better communication. Be aware that it can also bring
to the surface the truth from that conversation;
8. If used in a meeting or conference, it will encourage discussion
and understanding between the people involved;
©ReikiScoop 24
9. Visualize Shika So + Sei He Ki + Serpent of Fire on your lower
back to ease the connection with your inner-self. Use your
spiritual guides to assist you in this meditation;
10. Consider using Shika So to improve your connection with
your guardian angel and your spirit guides. CHK + Sei He Ki +
HSZSN + Shika So will help filter out their message and
eventually understand what they are trying to tell you;
©ReikiScoop 25
SHIKA SEI KI
©ReikiScoop 26
This is the second non-traditional symbol from the Usui Reiki system.
It is mainly used in the heart area as it helps heal many physical,
energetic, and emotional imbalances at this level.
Shika Sei Ki has 3 main attributes:
• It cleanses the structure of your soul and activates the heart
chakra;
• Helps heal most heart-related diseases;
• Helps heal emotionally related imbalances;
Shika Sei Ki has the following uses:
1. Shika Sei Ki can be activated on the palms, crown, and heart
chakra. Do this before the Reiki self-treatment to enhance the
flow of energy and bring a feeling of compassion towards
yourself and others;
2. When activated on the heart chakra regularly, Shika Sei Ki can
transform depression or grief into compassion and joy;
3. It's also known as a symbol of peace and harmony. When
drawn into the center of a room, it will promote a loving and
peaceful environment;
4. This symbol has the ability to concentrate a significant amount
of universal life force energy in one point;
5. Together with Cho Ku Rei and Sei He Ki, Shika Sei Ki can cleanse
the soul from residual and negative energies. Also, through the
regular practice of self-treatment, Shika Sei Ki can gradually
regain the lost parts of the soul;
6. Activate Shika Sei Ki + Cho Ku Rei sequence on the thymus
gland (youth gland) to stimulate its opening. This will help grow
your confidence levels and bring a feeling of joy and optimism;
7. Use Shika-So on the throat chakra and Shika Sei Ki on the heart
area to enable harmonious communication. Let go of
unexpressed feelings, frustrations, and stagnant emotions. In
turn, this will help release a lot of unuseful energies from these
levels;
©ReikiScoop 27
8. Because this symbol helps you express your inner emotions
more directly, it can also help prevent and heal other physical
imbalances at this level. These can vary from tachycardia,
arterial hypo, hypertension, ischemic heart disease, asthma,
and even prevent Angina Pectoris.
9. Whenever you feel sad, melancholic, or even depressed, use
this symbol on your heart chakra;
10. Shika Sei Ki can help you regain your emotional health
gradually from past traumatic events, break-ups, or painful
losses;
©ReikiScoop 28
DAI KO MYO
©ReikiScoop 29
This is the master symbol that you receive through the Usui Reiki
level 3 attunement. Dai Ko Myo represents the "Great Shining Light,"
and it's one of the highest levels a practitioner can achieve.
Dai Ko Myo has 3 main attributes:
• Creates a direct connection to the universal life force energy;
• It can wrap anything in pure energy;
• Can quickly remove most negative energies from a room;
Dai Ko Myo has the following uses:
1. Activate it on your palms and chakras alongside the other Reiki
symbols and use it self-treatment. Try to notice the difference
in the flow of energy;
2. Apply the SHK + SSK + DKM sequence on the heart area to
cleanse and recover the lost parts of your soul;
3. It plays a crucial part in the "meditation in motion technique."
This is something you learn at level 3, and it's designed to help
you cleanse the energetic fields;
4. Activate CKR + SHK + HSZSN + DKM on top of your head and on
the crown chakra to intensify the flow of the universal life force
energy through your body;
5. The same sequence of symbols can be used to send distance
healing (transcending time and space). This can be directed
towards a person, situation, or event. Dai Ko Myo will further
support the effect;
6. You can use it to cleanse a room from residual energies. Draw it

9. Meditating on this symbol enables you to establish a healthy
connection to the universal life force energy and its beneficial
manifestations;
10. If you want to activate the symbol for someone else, do it
above the crown chakra. This will help them regain access to
the universal life force energy and enjoy the benefits that come

TIBETAN DAI KO MYO
©ReikiScoop 32
A symbol used in many Reiki systems for attunements. You receive
access to this symbol at Usui level 3b (or level 4 in some schools).
That's why Tibetan Dai Ko Myo is also considered a master symbol.
It holds an ancient power within it. Some Reiki teachers claim that its
vibration is even higher than Dai Ko Myo.
Tibetan Dai Ko Myo has 3 main attributes:
• Enables the dragon/violet breath to take place in the moment
of attunement. This allows the student to receive the Reiki
symbols and the flow of the universal life-force energy;
• Removes energetic blockages when used in therapy;
• Deeply cleanses a room from negative energies;
Tibetan Dai Ko Myo has the following uses:
1. When you provide attunements as a master/teacher, you draw
this symbol with the tip of your tongue behind the upper
incisors before releasing the dragon/violet breath. This
facilitates the opening of the crown chakra and the main
energetic channel of the student you are about to attune.
2. Draw it on top of your head for a deep cleansing from negative
projections. Add Cho Ku Rei to enhance the flow of energy
through your body;
3. Place it in the middle of the room, alongside the regular Dai Ko
Myo. This intensifies their effect and speeds up the cleansing
process;
4. You can also use it to cleanse the sacral area, where the
Kundalini energy resides. I use CKR + SHK + Tibetan DKM in the
sacral area (lower back). Use this method before the Reiki self-
treatment and notice the difference in your connection with
the Kundalini energy;
5. When you activate this symbol on the back projection of your
chakras, it will realign and cleanse them;
©ReikiScoop 33
6. Whenever you use it in your Reiki self-treatment, the Tibetan
Dai Ko Myo will remove most of the energetic blockages,
enabling the energy to flow in an optimum way;
7. Allow the information to come to you. Meditate on this symbol
and discover other uses that might better suit your specific
needs;

SERPENT OF FIRE – Nin Giz Zida
©ReikiScoop 35
Although not a traditional symbol, the Serpent of Fire is used
predominantly at the beginning of attunements. It's also common in
deep, inner-self healing sessions. This symbol is present in several
Reiki systems, including the master level of Usui Reiki.
Serpent of Fire has 3 main attributes:
• It is drawn at the beginning of attunements to align the chakras
and center the student's Kundalini energy;
• Clears the energy through the main energy channel;
• Grounds the student, creating a balance between the universal
life force energy and the telluric energy;
NOTE: When activated on a person's back, the arch of the symbol is
drawn from the left shoulder to the right shoulder. The 7 small arches
represent the cleansing flow of energy through the chakras. Finally, it
ends with a spiral at the sacral area.
The Serpent of Fire has the following uses:
1. In combination with Cho Ku Rei and Sei He Ki, it helps clear your
main energetic channel, Sushumna;
2. When you activate CKR + SHK + Serpent of Fire parallel to the
ground, it opens up the energetic pathway to wherever you
need to travel, clearing out any energetic blockages;
3. When activated on your body's posterior (back), it flushes away
residual energies, increases the vital energy flow, and grounds
you;
4. When activated on your body's anterior (front), it can induce a
state of inner peace;
5. Activate it with the rest of the Reiki symbols in the middle of
the room to promote a stable and harmonious environment;
6. Use the Serpent of Fire before self-treatment or treatment on
others. Activate it in your palms to enhance the energy flow.
This will allow for deeper healing of the inner-self;

DRAGON OF FIRE
©ReikiScoop 37
Similar to the Serpent of Fire, the Dragon of Fire is present in many
Reiki systems, including the master/teacher level of Usui. However,
it's not a traditional symbol.
The Dragon of Fire has 3 main attributes:
• It establishes a healthy connection to the Earth's energy;
• Can help you become a balanced channel between the
universal life force energy and the telluric one;
• It can also help treat female genital-related ailments;
NOTE: The Dragon of Fire has a similar structure and symbolism as
the Serpent of Fire. Therefore it can be drawn or visualized on the
back and front of yourself or another person.
The Dragon of Fire has the following use:
1. When drawn on the body's posterior (back), it can gradually
relieve menstrual pain and/or menopause complications;
2. Visualized/activated together with the Serpent of Fire on the
body's posterior can help alight the chakras and boost vital
energy. When repeating this process, it can be very useful to
athletes;
3. Use it for grounding both on the body's anterior and posterior;
4. You can use it to release most of the malevolent intentions
projected on you. This comes in combination with the Ho Ka O
Ili Ili symbol (described later in this guide). Of course, you
should consider this procedure only when such an event
occurs. Be aware that the sender might notice the effect;
5. The energy of this symbol has the potential to stimulate the
Kundalini energy. Because it's connected to the energy of a
dragon-like entity, this symbol has the ability to boost inner
power when facing difficult or dangerous situations;

RAKU
©ReikiScoop 39
This is the last symbol you learn in the Usui Reiki system. It's present
at the master/teacher level.
It's debatable whether this symbol belongs to the traditional system
or not. Nevertheless, its vibration and power are present the
moment you activate it.
Raku has 3 main attributes:
• Helps separate the freshly attuned student's aura from the
master/teacher's aura;
• Helps separate a person from unhealthy patterns and habits for
healing purposes;
• Offers a strong grounding effect;
Raku has the following uses:
1. When activated on the body's posterior (back), it can help flush
residual energies, offering grounding and stability;
2. After an attunement, the master/teacher has the right to apply
this directly on the student's posterior (back) or between them
to separate the auras;
3. When used in self-treatment or therapy on others, its energy
can be guided to help eliminate addictions. However, Raku will
lead you away from such patterns rather than entirely heal
them;
4. It can cut the energetic cords of toxic relationships. Always
have the person's consent;
5. When activated on your palms before the self-treatment or
therapy on others, Raku acts as a "lightning bolt" of energy that
clears the aura and chakras of residual and negative energies.
Add Cho Ku Rei + Sei He Ki for an amplified effect;

Karuna Reiki Symbols
Reiki master/Teacher William Lee Rand introduced the Karuna Reiki
system to the world.
Compared to Usui, this system has a higher vibration. This is possible
because Karuna Reiki facilitates the connection with the energy of
archangels and ascendant masters.
Through its specific meditations, one can begin to heal their inner
selves and gradually establish a connection with their higher selves.
Usui Reiki - helps you become healthier physically and emotionally
while gradually raising your overall vibration.
Karuna Reiki - helps you break down mental and energetic
roadblocks through increased awareness. This enables you to
gradually develop and thrive as a spiritual being - Karuna Reiki is "the
next level" of spiritual knowledge and growth.
Still, there’s no system better than others. They’re just different and
suitable at different points in a practitioner’s journey. Karuna would
not exist without Usui. Like all things, even Reiki evolves, and we can
take it as our duty to discover new ways to apply it.
Each degree of Karuna Reiki stands for a spiritual threshold and
provides new symbols that connect to higher vibrational energies.
Moreover, these tokens reach the energy print of specific archangels
and/or divine entities. Thus, you go beyond the standard practices of
Reiki and towards the realm of divine intervention.
But remember to take this step only if or when you’re ready. It may
never happen and that’s ok. Always be at peace with yourself.

ZONAR
©ReikiScoop 42
This is the first symbol you learn at the Karuna Reiki level 1.
Although this symbol can be found in multiple Reiki systems, Zonar
was initially channeled by Marcy Miller.
Zonar has 3 main attributes:
• Helps heal past and present emotional traumas and/or
imbalances;
• Offers energetic protection, especially when combined with
other Reiki symbols;
• Connects to Archangel Gabriel;
Zona has the following uses:
1. It can be activated on your palms and chakras alongside the
rest of the Usui Reiki symbols, offering an enhanced energy
flow;
2. Because we store most of our emotional and spiritual
experiences within the DNA sequence, Zonar can enter the
energetic print at a cellular level and offer deep, complete
healing;
3. When used in conjunction with Cho Ku Rei, Sei He Ki, and Hon
Sha Ze Sho Nen, Zonar helps heal most of the past emotional
traumas or imbalances within the self-treatment;
4. When sending energy into the future using the same sequence
of symbols, adding Zonar can help heal and prevent future
emotional issues;
5. When placed on a wound or damaged body part, Zonar
gradually helps heal the energetic integral structure of that
area by rebuilding its energetic field. Consider adding Cho Ku
Rei for an enhanced effect;
6. Zonar acts as a direct link to Archangel Gabriel’s energetic print.
Therefore, the symbol will help you connect to him through an
inter-dimensional gateway. From there on, we can ask for his
help or support whenever needed;
©ReikiScoop 43
7. Zonar also acts as an emotional “remedy” for relationships.
Whether you use this symbol in self-treatment or treatment on
others, applying Zonar will bring a gradual mental and
emotional stability for the people involved;
8. In meditation, Zonar can help us disintegrate unnecessary
and/or harmful patterns that keep us from reaching our goals.
Visualize it within you and allow it to slowly change your body’s
vibration;
9. Zonar engages in healing grief, sadness, emotional pain,
excessive jealousy, anger, and frustration. A healthy
introspection together with the Karuna Reiki self-treatment
helps you gradually remove these destructive elements from
your life;
10. When directly sending energy towards your past with the
intention of healing certain events or situations, add Zonar next
to your regular Reiki symbols. Just remember to do this process
no more than twice a week for about 10 minutes per session;
©ReikiScoop 44
HALU
©ReikiScoop 45
This is the second symbol that you receive at your level 1 Karuna
Reiki training. And it complements Zonar perfectly. Still, both
symbols can work as stand-alone elements without an issue.
Halu has 3 main attributies:
• Offers strong psychic protection;
• Promotes self-acceptance and harmony through the healing of
the emotional body;
• Connects to Archangel Raphael, the angel of healing.
Halu has the following uses:
1. Acts as an inter-dimensional gateway towards the energy print
of Archangel Raphael. Through this symbol, you are able to
bring part of Raphael’s healing energies into your life;
2. You can activate Halu on your palms and chakras. This symbol
will help create a layer of energetic protection around your
body through the constant use within the Reiki self-treatment;
3. When used on the crown and third eye chakras, this symbol
acts as a shield against psychic aggression and/or manipulation;
4. Through its structure, this symbol behaves as a pyramid of
energy that can surround a person, object, or even an entire
group of people;
5. When meditating upon Halu, this symbol allows you to
acknowledge your mistakes and avoid judging others for your
actions. Also, it enables us to harmonize ourselves with our
own imperfections and heal them through self-discipline and
introspection;
6. In conjunction with Cho Ku Rei + Sei He Ki + Hon Sha Ze Sho
Nen + Zonar, Halu can send energy towards our past and help
heal traumatic events that still bother us today;
7. Consider using Zonar + Halu to enhance the cleansing of a
room. Activate the sequence on the ceiling, walls, corners,
floor, and center of the room. Together, they will help dissipate
residual and negative energies;
©ReikiScoop 46
8. When activated on the primary chakras and their back
projections, Halu creates an energetic armor of protection
against malevolent intentions and energies;
9. During Reiki self-treatment, Halu can help reach the root of
your mental and emotional imbalances. Then, using the flow of
the universal life force energy, you can heal these imbalances
and continue your spiritual growth;
10. Activate Halu + Zonar on your body's anterior (front) and
posterior (back) - where you can visualize it. This will create
strong, energetic protection around you. This sequence will
also provide a gradual energetic rejuvenating effect over your
whole body;
©ReikiScoop 47
HARTH
©ReikiScoop 48
Harth is the 3rd symbol you learn at your level 1 Karuna Reiki system
and one of the highest vibrational symbols. It represents pure
compassion, love, and nourishment for the soul.
Harth has 3 main attributes:
• It acts as a gateway opener towards some of the purest
manifestations of the universal lifeforce energy;
• Enhances the energy flow of the superior chakras;
• Helps heal the energetic structure of the soul - this can help
prevent a number of cardiac problems;
Harth has the following uses:
1. It can be activated on your palms and chakras alongside the
rest of the Reiki symbols before self-treatment. This will
enhance the flow and quality of energy through your body;
2. It can be activated in the center of a room for a thorough,
energetic cleansing. This will fill the space with compassion and
love;
3. By constantly activating Harth on the Soul Star and Crown
chakras, you enhance the opening of these two centers
towards the divine, loving energies;
4. Some practitioners claim that Harth opens the gateway
towards Mother Mary. Others say it facilitates the connection
with the Buddhist goddess Kwan Yin. This is possible because
Harth helps establish a healthy relationship with the divine
motherly energies;
5. When sending energy towards your past, present, or future,
add the Harth symbol. The energy of this symbol will help heal
emotional imbalances related to the Yin (or feminine) side;
6. The Sei He Ki + Shika Sei Ki + Harth sequences will helps
regenerate the essence of the soul. Activate it on your heart
area and rest your palms there for about 10 minutes. This
process will cleanse your soul, and you'll start feeling joyful and
whole again;
©ReikiScoop 49
7. Harth works excellent with relationships, regardless of their
nature. Use the Cho Ku Rei + Sei He Ki + Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen +
Shika Sei Ki + Dai Ko Myo + Harth sequence towards that
specific relationship. Send energy to that it for ~5-10 minutes
each day. This will cleanse the soul's essence of the people
involved and help heal most of the emotional imbalances
between them;
8. Using Harth regularly in self-treatment can help prevent and/or
even heal cardiac issues. Any imbalance at this level occurs
because of an energetical breach and misunderstanding of a
spiritual concept. In this case, the heart area is all about the
ability to forgive, offer compassion and love;
9. Harth helps us prevent and get rid of addictions, negative
mental patterns, and habits. By using it in conjunction with Sei
He Ki, Harth is an excellent mind resetter. It helps us become
free of unnecessary residual energies;
10. Working with the Harth symbol regularly will train you for
emotional self-control;

RAMA
©ReikiScoop 51
This is the fourth and last symbol you learn at your first level of
Karuna Reiki. It's a strong symbol for protection and cleansing.
Rama has 3 main attributes:
• Connects to the energy of Archangel Michael;
• It can be used for dissipating malevolent energies and entities
from a person or a space;
• It can have a tremendous grounding effect;
Rama has the following uses:
1. It can be activated on your palms and lower chakras, and
therefore it can be used in the Reiki self-treatment. This will
create an enhanced cleansing effect, especially over your
inferior energetic fields - where most of our residual amount of
energy is stored;
2. When activated in the corners (upper and lower) and center of
a room, Rama removes low-vibrational entities and energies
from that space. Also, consider drawing Rama above candles if
you choose to light a few. The purifying effect will be amplified
by both physical and energetic elements;
3. For better grounding, activate Rama + Cho Ku Rei on each foot.
Take it one step further and activate Rama on the first, second,
and third chakras. Together these actions will gradually help
you connect to the telluric energies, grounding you in an
optimum way;
4. Rama is a good symbol for helping with temporary memory
loss. Use Cho Ku Rei + Sei He Ki + Rama on the third eye chakra
to enhance your ability to remember information;
5. It's a gateway opener towards the energy print of Archangel
Michael. This means that whenever you activate Rama, you call
upon an extension of his energy;
6. Activate Rama parallel to the ground and all around you. This
will create strong protection against negative energies,
malevolent intentions, and energetic vampires;
©ReikiScoop 52
7. Within the Reiki self-treatment, Rama will gradually release
energetic blockages, especially the ones located in the inferior
part of your body;
8. When used in front of you, Cho Ku Rei + Sei He Ki + Rama will
help open the energetic pathways towards your travels by
removing any negative energies and obstacles;
9. Rama is an exceptional symbol for cleansing and protecting
objects such as crystals, cars, wallets, purses, or anything that is
of value to you;
10. Consider activating Rama between you and a person to
create a wall of energy through which no malevolent intentions
will pass. However, be aware that this may affect the
communication between the two of you. Add Cho Ku Rei to
create an even stronger energy shield;
©ReikiScoop 53
GNOSA
©ReikiScoop 54
Gnosa is the first symbol you learn at your level 2 Karuna training. It's
related to learning as a concept and was channeled by Reiki master
Marie Abraham.
Gnosa has 3 main attributes:
• It expands the mental field, therefore, allowing the practitioner
to accumulate more knowledge and wisdom;
• Helps you express and acknowledge the truth within a situation
or conflict;
• It offers a better, easier connection to the higher self.
Therefore this symbol develops your awareness;
Gnosa has the following uses:
1. It can be used in the daily Reiki self-treatment. Before though,
you can activate Gnosa on your palms and superior chakras -
crown, third eye, throat, and heart. This will enable you to
gradually integrate the symbol's energy;
2. When used between you and another person, it will bring to
the surface any hidden thoughts or lies that could have been
solved through simple communication. Also, if activated on
your third eye chakra within a conversation, it will help you
spot dishonesty;
3. Gnosa helps you connect to the angels of wisdom. By using it
regularly, you'll enable your potential to reach a higher level of
divine wisdom;
4. Through meditation, this symbol can help you better connect to
your higher self, therefore empowering you to grow from a
spiritual standpoint by raising your consciousness;
5. Activating a double Gnosa on the crown chakra will help you
remove fatigue, lethargy and even recover from hangovers;
6. When activated on a book or a course, Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen +
Gnosa helps acknowledge and filter the received information so
that it removes the chance of a faulty personal interpretation;
©ReikiScoop 55
7. Use the Cho Ku Rei + Sei He Ki + Gnosa sequence on the third
eye chakra daily to enhance your ability to focus on specific
tasks;
8. This symbol also helps gain mental clarity when it comes to
expressing yourself through creative ventures. Activate Gnosa
on the third eye and Gnosa + Shika So on the throat chakra.
This will further improve your capability to express yourself
through creativity and communication;
9. Draw Gnosa above a book to facilitate the learning process. It's
a way to connect to the author's thoughts and better
understand what s/he was trying to say.
10. Gnosa works great in combination with most Reiki
symbols. Its effect can be amplified in different ways, with
different results. For example: Rama + Gnosa helps enhance
physical strength | Gnosa + Dai Ky Myo on the crown chakra is
for gaining a clearer understanding of the divine message and
signs. Still, don't feel limited by these alone. Experiment with
the various combinations that come to mind, and allow yourself
to discover new and exciting patterns;

KRIYA
©ReikiScoop 57
This is the second symbol you learn at your level 2 Karuna Reiki
training. This represents the link from the spiritual to the material
world in terms of manifestation.
Kriya was channeled through Reiki master Kathleen Milner with
William Lee Rand's guidance, the founder of Karuna Reiki.
Kriya has 3 main attributes:
• It helps bring your desires and goals into the material world;
• A symbol for healing the entire human race;
• It helps you connect to the angels of creativity;
Kriya has the following uses:
1. Kriya can be activated on your pams and chakras before self-
treatment. Using this symbol in your therapy will help you
better integrate its energetic print;
2. Use it to achieve an efficient grounding effect. Draw Kriya
starting from the hips and continue downwards towards your
feet, where you'll finish with the spirals. Add Rama on each
foot to create a solid grounding effect;
3. This symbol connects to the angels of creativity, meaning that
you are able to use this symbol in your meditations and call
upon those divine entities. They will help you develop better
skills and stimulate your creativity;
4. Kriya is a very efficient symbol for Reiki projects. So, add it for a
quicker manifestation of your goals. Remember that this will all
happen in the best way for you, so "quick" will be different
from person to person;
5. When activated on the Soul Star and Crown chakras, Kriya can
stimulate the physical manifestation of your goals if they are in
accordance with the Divine will;
6. Kriya has the power to help the entire human race. You can
play your part and send energy towards the whole planet for its
greater good - use Cho Ku Rei + Sei He Ki + Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen
+ Dai Ko Myo + Halu + Kriya. This sequence will create the
©ReikiScoop 58
perfect flow of energy designated for helping and healing
humanity. Remember that this must be done no more than 10
minutes occasionally and by adding "for everyone's greater
good" at the end. Not everyone wants to change or to be
healed, so we have to respect that!
7. When activated on the third eye chakra, Kriya + Gnosa will
amplify your ability to focus and remove mental obstacles that
keep you from achieving certain goals;
8. Enable Kriya between you and a person to create an energy
flow of harmony and understanding. You can use this method
at a distance by adding Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen;
9. If you use crystals in your therapy sessions or Reiki projects,
you can apply Kriya + Cho Ku Rei to your crystals. Your intention
should be to manifest your desires and goals into the physical
world. This will focus the energy towards that particular
outcome;
10. Kriya is a symbol that offers many features and attributes.
Unfortunately, some of these are not yet known by most
practitioners. Therefore, meditating on this symbol and
integrating it into your life can reveal new and exciting ways of
using its energy;

IAVA (Java)
©ReikiScoop 60
This is the third symbol you learn at your Karuna level 2 training. It
symbolizes the 4 main elements required for life.
Also, it is a great adjuvant for lifting the veil of illusions, negative
patterns, and deceit. The Iava symbol was channeled by Reiki master
Catherine Mills.
Iava has 3 main attributes:
• Connects to the angels of harmony and nature, therefore
balances the 4 primordial elements within your body;
• Helps dissolve misconceptions and illusions;
• Java enables you to develop the reality that is in resonance
with your own energy;
Iava has the following uses:
1. Activate Iava on the palms and chakras before the Reiki self-
treatment. When used regularly, this symbol will enable you to
balance the primordial elements that keep your body in a
healthy state: water, wind, fire, and earth;
2. Iava opens the gateway towards the angels of harmony. Once
you bring them into your life, you can constantly send them
energy for helping you throughout your life;
3. Activating a double Iava symbol on the crown chakra for an
optimum mental balance. It's also a way to add a strong layer
of protection against damaging mental patterns;
4. Iava has the ability to dismantle deceit. Therefore, it will help
you become aware of the truth within any event, situation or
story. Furthermore, when activated between you and someone
else, it will reveal that person's true motivation;
5. Be aware that the constant use of this symbol will remove
many of the preconceptions that you may have. Iava "rewires"
the brain in order to eliminate unnecessary patterns. It does
the same with superstitions and other unhealthy thoughts;
6. Iava + Sei He Ki helps eliminate addictions. Specifically, it helps
remove the energy print of any unnecessary pattern that
©ReikiScoop 61
generates addictions in the first place. This process greatly
depends on the person's inner will and desire to change for the
better;
7. When sending energy into the future, using the sequence Cho
Ku Rei + Sei He Ki + Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen + Iava can help prevent
and offer better protection over malevolent influences and
negative patterns;

SHANTI
©ReikiScoop 63
This is the fourth and last symbol that you learn at your level 2
Karuna training. Shanti was channeled by Reiki master Pat Courtney,
and it represents the key to peaceful energy.
Shanti has 3 main attributes:
• Shanti is one of the few symbols in Reiki that helps heal past
emotional traumas directly;
• It also helps remove negative emotions from the present such
as stress, depression, or anxiety;
• Regardless if it's used in self-treatment or meditation, Shanti
brings the energy of peace in your life.
Shanti has the following uses:
1. Activate it on your palms and superior chakras (the crown, third
eye, throat, and heart chakras). During self-treatment it will
enhance the flow of the universal life force energy promoting
peace;
2. Because Shanti is a high-vibrational symbol, it can heal past and
present emotional traumas when used regularly in self-
treatment. The healing process involves acceptance and
detachment from these negative energies;
3. Constantly activating Shanti on the Soul Star chakra during self-
treatment will help enhance your connection to your spirit
guides;
4. Shanti can help open the third eye chakra (not to be confused
with the third eye itself). This symbol clears our residual and
negative energies from this area, allowing the energetic center
to gradually open in time. Add Gnosa and your intuition to
support your ability to assimilate information.
5. This symbol acts as a key for the entities of peace and spiritual
guidance. Therefore, meditating on this symbol will enable you
to connect to the vibrations of these divine entities. The best
part is that if you connect to these entities regularly, they can
even become your own Reiki guides. They are more than willing
to help us;
©ReikiScoop 64
6. When placed in the center of a room, Shanti will bring harmony
and peace to that space. Add Sei He Ki for an amplified effect;
7. Through its continuous use, Shanti has the ability to counter
the effects of depression, anxiety, and stress. Also, it's a great
remedy for people who suffer from insomnia;
8. When applied to the throat chakra, our communication
becomes harmonious and our messages clear;
9. If activated in the heart area, Shanti provides a feeling of peace
and relaxation deep within our soul. Add Sei He Ki + Shika Sei Ki
+ Harth for an enhanced effect;
10. Many mantras and sutras include the word Shanti
because of its ability to promote peace. You just have to find
the ones that resonate with you;
©ReikiScoop 65
OM (AUM)
©ReikiScoop 66
This is the last and most powerful symbol which belongs to the
master level or the third Karuna Reiki level. OM is an ancient Sanskrit
symbol that bridges our inner Divine energy and the Universal life
force energy.
OM has 3 main attributes:
• It is a permanent link to the purest manifestation of the life
force energy;
• Through meditation, it stimulates spiritual wakening;
• It also nourishes the heart and mind with pure energy;
OM has the following uses:
1. To significantly enhance the flow of the universal life force
energy, prior to the Reiki self-treatment, OM can be activated
on the palms and superior chakras. Additionally, you can do the
same for the Soul Star, crown, third eye, throat, and heart
charkas;
2. Activate OM + Shika Sei Ki + Harth in the heart area to support
the flow and cleanse the soul from residual and negative
energies;
3. Used constantly on the Soul Star, crown, and third eye chakras,
OM will help gain higher awareness and a sense of gratitude
towards life. Its vibration will also provide a feeling of self-
sufficiency;
4. When used on the throat area, OM enables you to express your
emotions and thoughts harmoniously. Add Shika So to further
intensify the effect;
5. OM connects to the angels of Divine harmony. These are some
of the highest vibrational entities in existence. This means it
can bring their energy into our lives and help raise our
consciousness;
6. Whenever activated in the center of the room, OM will bring
calmness, harmony and will offer a strong cleansing effect;
©ReikiScoop 67
7. Meditating on this symbol will gradually change the energetic
structure of the brain by dissolving negative thoughts and
patterns;
8. Cho Ku Rei + Sei He Ki + Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen + Dai Ko Myo +
OM will connect to the highest, purest manifestation of the
universal life force energy. This sequence can be used on the
crown chakra to (re)activate the connection to the light. You
can also apply it in the center of a room or on the ceiling for
creating a powerful cone of light;
9. OM or AUM is the source of all existing sounds and the echo of
the divine creation. When used in the mantra "Om Mani Padme
Hum", its vibration is amplified. There are quite a few versions
of this mantra, and each of them has the ability to cleanse a
space when played;
10. Even if this symbol has a rather abstract meaning in Hindu
philosophy, in Karuna, its energy print is related to spiritual
ascension and evolution through awareness;
11. You can also print it alongside other Reiki symbols and
keep that frame next to you in the workplace or at home. It will
provide a constant flow of pure energy;

The Shamballa Multi-Dimensional Healing Reiki System was first
introduced into this world through Hari Das Melchizedek, better
known as John Armitage.
Although this approach was intended to be similar to the original
Usui Reiki system, it has evolved into something far more complex.
Within the Reiki spectrum, Shamballa MDH Reiki provides access to
some of the most potent energies, symbols, and meditation
techniques available. However, this doesn't mean that it's complete
or better. Rather, it has a higher vibration than other Reiki systems.
How To Go About It
Following the course of Usui and Karuna Reiki before receiving an
attunement in Shamballa MDH Reiki is, in my opinion, the optimal
path. That's because Usui Reiki is more concerned with the physical
and mental aspects of wellness, whereas Karuna travels deeper into
emotional and spiritual healing.
Shamballa MDH Reiki goes even further, assisting you in raising your
consciousness and growing from a spiritual standpoint. I wouldn't
recommend Shamballa MDH Reiki to someone who just wants to get
as many Reiki attunements as possible.
Shamballa MDH Reiki aids in the expansion of your awareness, but it
also brings to the surface karmic debts that you must pay in order for
your spiritual growth to happen. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that
this system essentially "speeds up" the whole process, allowing you
to have a clear road ahead.

Some people may see this as a wonderful idea, whilst others may run
away. It is entirely dependent on your goals and how you wish to
position yourself moving forward.
About The Symbols
The symbols in Shamballa MDH Reiki are quite complex, but very
little is known about them. Of course, there are a few with well-
defined characteristics, but the rest remains to be discovered by you
as a spiritual practitioner.
When it comes to their applications and benefits, almost all of the
recognized symbols from Shamballa MDH have a lot more to offer
than meets the eye.
Over 350 unknown symbols in this system are supposed to be
revealed one by one only when the practitioner is ready and wise
enough to use their potential.
But why so much secrecy?
The Tale Behind Shamballa
Well, it is said that this system originates from Atlantis, the legendary
sunken continent. That population was incredibly advanced from a
technological and spiritual standpoint.
However, they eventually began to thirst for even more power and
began to sabotage one another. This led to excessive greed, hate,
and eventually conflict between them.
The continent was sunk as a "punishment" for failing to manage and
control their talents and gifts. Whoever remained alive fled to Egypt,
©ReikiScoop 70
Asia, and Central America, laying the groundwork for future
civilizations to emerge.
Even if you believe this tale is implausible, the lesson is that some
things are hidden from us so that we do not misuse them for our
own selfish, greedy ends. Only when we are wise and disciplined will
we receive what is best suited for us.
“With great power comes great
responsibility.” – Winston Churchill
As mentioned, there are a few symbols that are revealed to us
through this complex Reiki system. Yet, there is little information
about them available.
Through meditation and practice, I managed to gather as much
information as I am allowed to receive on them at this point in time.

MER KA FA KA LISH MA
©ReikiScoop 72
You gain access to this symbol at the second level of Shamballa MDH
Reiki. And, at first glance, you'll probably notice it resembles the
Egyptian cross.
Mer Ka Fa Ka Lish Ma has 3 main attributes:
• It can activate the inert DNA sequences in a slow, gradual way
that is optimum for each practitioner;
• Helps cleanse the soul energy essence;
• Can help restore the energetic health and physical structure of
any organ;
Mer Ka Fa Ka Lish Ma has the following uses:
1. You can activate Mer Ka Fa Ka Lish Ma on your palms and
superior chakras (Soul Star and crown chakras) prior to self-
treatment. This will bring an enhanced level of energy flow as
well as integrate the energy print of this symbol in your body;
2. The constant use of this symbol will gradually change the
structure of your DNA, meaning that some of the inert
sequences could become active. This will enable you to
discover new spiritual potentials;
3. In meditation or prior to the Reiki self-treatment, you can
activate this symbol on your wrists. It's a way to stimulate the
process of activating new DNA sequences;
4. You can draw this symbol on the front and back of your body.
Doing this will align your chakras and remove residual energies;
5. This symbol has a strong connection to our planet's beneficial,
nurturing, motherly energies. Activate it on both sides of the
body before the Reiki self-treatment. This will enable you to
become a perfect channel that unites the universal life force
energy with the Earth's vital energy.
6. Mer Ka Fa Ka Lish Ma will also help gradually raise the Kundalini
energy that resides in the sacral area. That's because, among
many other things, this symbol represents the evolution of
Kundalini from its dormant stage to fully awaken and aware;
©ReikiScoop 73
7. An enhanced regenerating effect can be created by using Mer
Ka Fa Ka Lish Ma + Zonar + Halu on an affected body area.
Together they offer the necessary energy required to
restructure an integral part of a tissue or organ;
8. Antahkarana and Mer Ka Fa Ka Lish Ma are an ideal
combination for deeply cleansing your mental, emotional, and
energetic bodies. By simply activating them in a room will
gradually change the vibration of that place;
9. Mer Ka Fa Ka Lish Ma has a powerful beneficial energy that can
help cleanse a place from malevolent entities. Just activate it
on the ceiling and in the center of a room alongside the rest of
the Reiki symbols;
10. Keep in mind that this is one of the symbols with the
potential of creating life-changing effects. Constantly exposing
yourself through this symbol can help you connect to your
inner-self and higher consciousness. It's a process that will
gradually lead your spiritual evolution.

ANTAHKARANA
©ReikiScoop 75
It is said that this symbol dates back thousands of years, and that
was later adopted by Hindu and Buddhist cultures. It represents an
esoteric-philosophical concept based on healing the subconscious.
This makes it one of the most interesting and powerful symbols in
existence.
Antahkarana has 3 main attributes:
• It balances your body from a mental, emotional, and energetic
perspective;
• Helps create and/or restore the connection between the
subconscious and the higher-self;
• Activates and purifies your chakras even when placed next to
you;
Antahkarana has the following uses:
1. It can be drawn on your palms like the rest of the Reiki symbols
and then applied to all chakras. Antahkarana will offer a
considerable enhancement in the flow of the universal life
force energy;
2. Printing and keeping it close to you at home or workplace will
stimulate the flow of vital energy through your body;
3. Using or placing it near you will also cleanse the connection
between your inner-self (subconscious) and your higher-self
(divine conscious). This will enable you to gradually link the two
elements and grow your awareness and consciousness;
4. The Yin Antahkarana is very useful in healing emotional
imbalances and helps activate the superior chakras. The Yang
Antahkarana helps amplify your energetic fields and your vital
energy. It resonates with the inferior chakras and balances the
Yin-Yang energies in your body;
5. Generally speaking, the Antahkarana helps you boost your
immunity and focus. This process takes place through cleansing
your mind and energetic fields of residual thoughts and
energies;
©ReikiScoop 76
6. When activated on the crown chakra and then guided through
the rest of the body, Antahkarana creates a vortex of energy
that has a powerful energetic cleansing effect;
7. Meditating on this symbol will enable you to free your mind of
negative thoughts. This will gradually raise your awareness and
cleanse the mental, emotional and spiritual layers of your body;
8. If physically placed within a room, Antahkarana can transform
negative energies into positive ones and keep malevolent
entities away. The ideal version for this action is the
Antahkarana Cross. Also, it helps amplify any form of spiritual
practice that you may conduct in that room;
9. There is also a square pattern with 16 Antahkaranas that helps
remove negative energies. It also amplifies the flow of the
universal life force energy. You can place this on a wall or under
any piece of furniture, including your bed;
10. Antahkarana has a purifying effect over crystals, food,
water, and anything organic. Keep this in mind when you
decide to buy and place crystals in your home;

MOTOR ZANON
©ReikiScoop 78
You learn this symbol at level 2 of Shamballa MDH Reiki training.
Motor Zanon has 3 main attributes:
• Helps remove the negative energy of bacteria, infection, and
viruses;
• Restores the energetic structure within the affected area;
• Brings healing entities that protect the affected area over a
long period;
Motor Zanon has the following uses:
1. It can be activated within your palms before self-treatment.
This will help you better integrate its energy into your body and
support a strong immune system over time. This symbol
doesn’t have to be activated on the chakras specifically;
2. Activate Cho Ku Rei 3 times, then Motor Zanon 3 times, and
then again Cho Ku Rei 3 times on an infection. Keep your hands
over that area for about 10 minutes. This sequence will remove
the negative energy of the condition and generate the
necessary healing vibration. Repeat the process 3 times/day;
3. Motor Zanon accesses certain entities that can help protect you
from bacteria, viruses, and infections. Meditating on this
symbol will help raise your vibration, thus will create a layer of
protection against lower-vibrational energies.

HO KA O ILI ILI
©ReikiScoop 80
This is a symbol that you learn at level 3 Shamballa MDH Reiki. It
represents respect and appreciation.
Ho Ka O Ili Ili has 3 main attributes:
• It creates an aura of respect around you;
• Helps boost self-confidence;
• Can be easily combined with other Reiki symbols for different
effects.
Ho Ka O Ili Ili has the following uses:
1. Activate it in your palms, on the crown chakra, and on your
body's all 4 sides. This will help bring the energy of respect and
self-trust;
2. Using the same procedure, activate the following sequence:
Cho Ku Rei + Sei He Ki + Ho Ka O Ili Ili. This will create an aura of
protection around you. It's a shield against disrespectful people
and negative intentions;
3. Activating it above the crown chakra will enhance the flow of
the universal life force energy;
4. One lesser-known combination is activating the Dragon Of Fire
+ Ho Ka O Ili Ili in front of you. You can use it when you want to
send back any malevolent thoughts and intentions to the
person who sent them towards you. However, be aware not to
abuse this method;
5. Using this symbol regularly in self-treatment will help you
better integrate its energy within your structures;

ABUNDANCE SYMBOL
©ReikiScoop 82
You learn this symbol at level 3 Shamballa MDH Reiki.
Abundance has 3 main attributes:
• Attract the energy of abundance on all levels - physical,
emotional, and spiritual;
• Unlocks the potential flow of prosperity within your life;
• Teaches you how to manage your income harmoniously, both
from a physical and spiritual standpoint;
Abundance has the following uses:
1. It can be activated on your palms and crown chakra prior to
self-treatment to help integrate its energy into your life;
2. The Abundance symbol is extremely useful when used in your
Reiki projects, and its power is amplified by other Reiki
symbols;
3. When sending energy towards your future, use Cho Ku Rei + Sei
He Ki + Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen + Abundance. This will gradually
unlock the potential for manifesting abundance on all levels;
4. Print out the symbol and place it on a wall, under your work
desk, or wherever your intuition guides you. This way, you will
gradually bring the energy of abundance and prosperity to that
room;

PALM MASTER
©ReikiScoop 84
You receive access to the energy of Palm Master at level 3 Shamballa
Reiki training.
Palm Master has 3 main attributes:
• Enhances the connection between the inner-self (kundalini),
the soul (divine spark), and the higher-self (connection with the
divine);
• Helps establish a gradual connection between the pineal and
pituitary gland;
• Enables you to become a perfect channel through which the
earth and divine energy flow;
Palm Master has the following uses:
1. You can activate it on your palms and on the whole length of
your body's anterior (front) prior to self-treatment. This will
enhance the flow of the universal life force energy and enable
you to blend with the vibration and energy of the Palm Master
symbol;
2. Because this symbol acts as a whole when activated on the
entire body, it stimulates a series of events at the energetic
level. It helps activate the crown chakra, establishes a
connection between the pineal and pituitary gland, and
activates the primary chakras for grounding;
3. By "design", the Palm Master symbol's activated on the body
stimulates the Soul Star chakra. This enables you to become a
perfect channel between the telluric and divine energies;
4. For an enhanced effect, draw Palm Master on your body's
anterior (front) and visualize it on the posterior (back) as well;
5. The constant use of this high-vibrational symbol helps raise
your awareness of yourself and the world around you. This
leads to an expansion of consciousness and gradual spiritual
growth;

AMSUI
©ReikiScoop 86
You receive access to Amsui at Shamballa MDH Reiki level 3. Even
though it consists of 7 smaller symbols, Amsui should be taken as a
whole energetic structure. It was channeled by Bas Van Woelderen.
Amsui has 3 main attributes:
• It is used predominantly in attunements and helps balance the
energetic structures, meaning your body becomes a better
receiver of the universal life force energy;
• It symbolizes completion and unity;
• Breaks the patterns of negative programs that we encounter in
our life;
Amsui has the following uses:
1. Compared to most Reiki symbols, Amsui doesn't necessarily
need to be activated on the palms. Instead, you can activate it
on the front side of the body before self-treatment. This will
distribute the energy throughout the body harmoniously. Each
element from the symbol corresponds to a primary chakra;
2. You can activate Amsui in the middle of a room for deep
cleansing. It will bring harmony and a sense of unity to that
place. Also, it will dismantle any negative programs that may
exist within the room;
3. Activated on the crown chakra before meditation or self-
treatment, Amsui will help integrate its energy and promote
emotional balance;
4. Cho Ku Rei + Sei He Ki + Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen + Amsui on your
crown chakra will dissolve negative patterns and programs that
may exist in your life;
5. This symbol has a strong connection with Archangel Michael.
Draw it above your dominant arm to activate Michael's sword.
You can use this energetic item to cut negative or residual
strings attached to your chakras. It can also cut and dissolve
negative projections from other people;
6. Meditate on this symbol to connect to its vibration and energy
print. This action will bring mental, emotional and energetic,
©ReikiScoop 87
balance. Also, it will help you connect to the energy of peace
and integrity of your soul;
7. Amsui represents the spiritual pillar between heaven and earth.
It's how you'll be able to find all the beneficial energies for your
spiritual evolution;

Symbols From Other Systems
Several Reiki systems were developed by channeling energy and
information from various Reiki masters and spiritual practitioners.
Many of these systems include high-vibrational symbols that may be
utilized in various ways to impact the energetic body.
Remember that each symbol represents a key that opens a door
toward the manifestation of the universal life force energy. This
implies that all symbols may be interpreted as "good" somehow,
allowing them to be used in different types of therapy or for other
purposes.
There is no universal symbol for healing everything.
You are the only element that may support a method in almost any
scenario.
The power to make things happen through the channeling of
universal life force energy is in your hands. You're also the one who
can determine which symbol should be used for different outcomes.
How Can These Symbols Complement The
Reiki Practice
That's why I've decided to share symbols that go beyond the known
Reiki systems. They may all be incorporated into your practice,
regardless of the attunements you have.
Their simple presence can bring a new level of vibration.
©ReikiScoop 89
Some belong to other spiritual practices (systems), while others are
standalone elements that represent esoteric and philosophical
concepts.
When you understand a symbol and begin to employ it frequently, its
energy and information are absorbed into your daily life.
This results in a connection that may be regarded as an "Initiation"
for the sign or practice in question. Of course, this is contingent on
the practitioner's vibration and resonance with the sign or practice.
The following symbols are not grouped or placed in a specific order.
Instead, their description is designed to be easily understandable yet
reliable and useful in your practice.
Remember that you have the responsibility of not using a symbol on
another person without their approval.

HOSANNA – V1
©ReikiScoop 91
HOSANNA – V2
©ReikiScoop 92
Although this sign is associated with the Karuna Reiki system in some
circles, it isn't officially recognized as such. Reiki master Eileen Gurhy
channeled Hosanna.
Hosanna has 3 main attributes:
• Removes inner blockages that delay or stop you from
accomplishing your goals;
• Helps cleanse a room energetically;
• It can be activated in two different ways depending on your
intention;
Hosanna has the following uses:
1. You can integrate this symbol within your Reiki practice by
activating it on your palms and crown chakra prior to the self-
treatment. Apart from an enhanced flow of energy, it will bring
a harmonious vibration to your practice;
2. Although this symbol can be activated in two ways, its general
use is for releasing mental, emotional, and energetic blockages.
It can also provide a calming and cleansing effect to your
physical body. Use Cho Ku Rei + Sei He Ki + Hosanna to remove
blockages within your energetic body;
3. Hosanna is strongly connected to the vibration of Archangel
Michael and the Count of Saint Germain. You can invoke them
whenever you wish to use this symbol to enhance its cleansing
abilities;
4. Know that the second version of this symbol has a more
specific use than the first. This means that you can apply it to a
more exact problem or imbalance in order to heal it. As
mentioned, you can ask Archangel Michael and the Count of
Saint Germain for assistance;
5. Print out this symbol and hang it at your workplace or at home.
Activate it by sending energy to it for 5-10 minutes. This will
create a flow of energy that is attributed to this symbol and will
help remove procrastination and mental blockages;
©ReikiScoop 93
6. Hosanna also has the ability to create a perfect harmony
between the Yin and Yang energies. This means that wherever
this symbol is present, it will stimulate the balance of the two
major types of energy;
7. It's a symbol for distance healing and addressing past traumas.
Activate Cho Ku Rei + Sei He Ki + Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen +
Hosanna on your palms. Use the same sequence for the
dimension you wish to open towards distance, past, or future.
Send energy for 10 minutes two times per week. Hosanna will
help dissolve the energies that were keeping you stuck;
©ReikiScoop 94
JOHRE (JOHREI)
©ReikiScoop 95
Johre is both a spiritual practice and a form of energy, similar to
Reiki's vibration.
Together they balance the Yin and Yang energies. Yin is represented
by Reiki and Yang by Johre.
Its origins can be traced back to Japan, and its translation means
"purification of the spirit through light."
Johre has 3 main attributes:
• Removes unnecessary, residual energies from your body;
• Brings pure energy to your chakras and activates them;
• Emanates high-vibrational energy when placed in a room and
balances the Yin and Yang energies;
Johre has the following uses:
1. It corresponds to the crown and Soul Star chakras. You can
visualize the symbol before self-treatment in order to facilitate
a better flow of energy through your body;
2. It's a symbol that directly influences your spiritual growth,
meaning that the more you expose yourself to it, the higher the
potential to clear out negative and residual energies from your
life. Johre can gradually raise your awareness and
consciousness through its presence;
3. One of the most useful things to do with this symbol is having it
next to you or hang on a wall. Personally, I own a drawing of a
calligraphy aficionado that emanates a beam of energy optimal
for my growth. And, the best thing, it won't force change, but
rather it will facilitate the necessary environment that provides
you with the required awareness for healing;
4. Also, the Johre school of healing claims that the layout of this
symbol enables it to emanate over 2500 photons of light. It
might sound abstract but what's important is that this symbol
brings healing on all levels with its simple presence;
©ReikiScoop 96
5. You can also place a printed version of Johre under your work
desk or kitchen/dinner table. Your activity (food or work) will
benefit from a higher vibration;
6. Johre acts as a direct link to your Reiki spirit guides that are
"specialized" in emotional and spiritual healing. Therefore,
having this symbol around will make it easier for you to connect
to those divine entities through meditation;
©ReikiScoop 97
LON SAY
©ReikiScoop 98
This symbol is considered to have Tibetan origins. But, unfortunately,
not much is known about it except one important feature - it helps
remove infections and several types of diseases.
Specifically, it provides the necessary vibration to remove the
negative energy that supports infections and bacteria.
Lon Say has the following uses:
1. Cho Ku Rei + Sei He Ki + Motor Zanon + Lon Say sequence
facilitates an easy, quick, and smooth healing process. Lon Say
and Motor Zanon make the perfect “team” for disintegrating
the negative energy that comes with infections, viruses, or
bacteria.
2. It's a very good symbol for keeping away malevolent energies
and certain negative entities;
3. I'm sure other uses are to be discovered through meditation
and practice;
©ReikiScoop 99
ANTI-CANCER
©ReikiScoop 100
This symbol is considered to belong to the Shamballa MDH Reiki
system and was channeled by Loril Moondream, who is affiliated
with the White Mountain Apache tribe.
Its main attribute - is to slow down the spreading and multiplication
of cancer cells through the body. Also, it slowly disintegrates the
negative energies that come alongside tumors or cancers.
The inability to forgive/forget is the
number one spiritual cause for most
cancers.
Therefore, due to its high vibration, this symbol awakens the idea of
“forgiveness” within a patient's mind, making it clear that they need
to manifest it. Forgiveness needs to be offered towards yourself first
and then to others;
Uses - activate or visualize this symbol above the crown chakra and
“push it” through the physical body to stimulate the development of
healthy cells while inhibiting the growth of malignant/tumorous
cells.

CHO KU RET
©ReikiScoop 102
Like Cho Ku Rei is the power symbol of the Usui Reiki system, so is
Cho Ku Ret for the Seichim Reiki system. They share many
similarities.
Cho Ku Ret has 3 main attributes:
• Cleanses and removes residual energies wherever it is applied;
• Activates chakras and creates energetic motion for noncellular
beings;
• Amplifies the flow of energy within therapy and enhances the
power of other Reiki symbols;
Co Ku Ret has the following uses:
1. Activate it on your palms and chakras prior to the Reiki self-
treatment to amplify the flow of the universal life force energy;
2. One distinctive feature is that Cho Ku Ret stimulates the energy
flow and cleansing of nonbiological structures such as stones,
computers, cars, and machinery. Even if they are not "alive",
these objects contain spiritual elements such as entities and
energy prints that can influence us;
3. Cho Ku Ret can stimulate the energy flow of meridian points.
Remember that each one of us has a large system of fine
energy channels called meridians. At their intersection, there
are the meridian points where the energy can become stagnant
or clogged. Visualize a small Cho Ku Ret in the intersection of
meridians. The flow of energy will be released and/or
enhanced;
4. An alternative is to activate Cho Ku Ret on an organ to
stimulate the vital energy flow through that organ's meridians.
Also, you can apply the symbol to help heal its whole energetic
structure. Any of these choices will enable the organ to be
flooded with pure energy, and the healing process will
gradually begin;
5. Although similar in functions, Cho Ku Ret has a slightly higher
vibration compared to Cho Ku Rei. Both can amplify the power
of other Reiki symbols;
©ReikiScoop 103
6. To release a person from negative or residual energies, apply
Cho Ku Ret on the body's anterior and posterior areas;
7. This symbol is a great instrument for removing negative and
residual energies from a house or a room. You can draw it on
each wall, ceiling, floor, corner, and center of a room. Add the
rest of the Reiki symbols to enable a "vortex" of beneficial
energies through that space;

REIKI HARMONY SYMBOL
©ReikiScoop 105
This symbol doesn’t belong to any particular Reiki system. Yet, it's
considered to be a “neo-Reiki” totem for harmony and peace.
Harmony has 3 main attributes:
• Brings harmony wherever it is activated or placed;
• Helps balance out the energetic fields at the end of Reiki
attunements or sessions;
• It is quite helpful in “softening” the 21 days healing crisis after
the Reiki attunements;
Harmony has the following uses:
1. If printed and placed in a room, it will bring the energy and
entities of harmony. This means that any activity you join will
be influenced by the vibration and energy of this symbol.
Together with Hosanna, they form a very peaceful and
harmonious atmosphere;
2. Use Harmony + Cho Ku Rei + Sei He Ki in the Reiki self-
treatment to relax and create a peaceful environment;
3. After a Reiki attunement or treatment on others, you can draw
this symbol on the patient to aid them in their transition
towards an overall higher vibration;
4. During the 21 days of self-healing that follow the Reiki
attunement, some practitioners experience different
symptoms. Some may be light, like yawning or fatigue, while
others harsher such as dizziness, insomnia, or even nausea.
Meditating on this symbol and adding it to your self-treatment
can ease the process of self-healing and remove most of these
"side-effects";

THE FLOWER OF LIFE
©ReikiScoop 107
Although part of the Shamballa MDH Reiki, the "Flower of Life" can
be found in many cultures around the world.
The Flower of Life is a geometric design with roots that date back to
ancient Egypt, although it is also said to be much older. The Sacred
Geometry is responsible for this emblem.
The Flower of Life has 3 main attributes:
• It emanates a high vibration that can gradually help you grow
from a spiritual standpoint;
• Brings the energy of unity and interconnection and promotes
the concept of "everything is one";
• Plays a crucial role in certain attunements like Shamballa MDH
Reiki;
The Flower of Life has the following uses:
1. It's a symbol that only needs to be visualized or printed out to
benefit from its high-vibrational energy;
2. Through meditation, you'll begin to understand its deeper
meaning - we're all interconnected and go beyond the material
existence;
3. The Flower of Life is considered to have the keys to the
blueprint of life, spiritual growth, and many secrets of the
Universe;

MERKABA STAR
©ReikiScoop 109
This is yet another example of Sacred Geometry, which apparently
has its origins in Jewish esoteric thought.
Some academics think that this sign traces back to the existence of
the mythical continent, Atlantis. The Merkaba Star is also
incorporated in the Shamballa MDH Reiki system.
Merkaba Star has 3 main attributes:
• Offers significant protection when integrated into your
energetic system;
• Plays a crucial role in your spiritual development by unlocking
higher states of consciousness;
• Enables the inner-self to harmoniously connect to the higher-
self, leading to an optimum self-awareness;
Merkaba Star has the following uses:
1. The Merkaba Star can act as a divine shield. When meditating,
place yourself (your physical body and energetic body) in the
star. This will provide strong protection against malevolent
energies. Keep in mind that while you are protected by the
Merkaba Star, the interaction with other people might also be
affected to some extent;
2. Connecting and staying within the Merkaba Star can potentially
activate inert spiritual qualities. The more you work with this
powerful energetic structure, the more inclined you will be to
raise your awareness and consciousness;
3. One of the effects of working with the elements of Sacred
Geometry, including the Merkaba Star, is the activation of the
Soul Star, crown, third eye, and heart chakras;
4. To understand the true nature of spirituality, an inner-self
ascension has to take place. The Merkaba Star can gradually
enhance the connection between the inner-self and the higher-
self;

METATRON’S CUBE
©ReikiScoop 111
The Merkaba Star and Metatron's Cube may look similar. These two
Sacred Geometry elements are indeed linked, and operate in perfect
harmony.
The Metatron's Cube contains all of the geometric forms known to
man. This complex spiritual structure is both a powerful defensive
measure and a potent tool for spiritual growth. Shamballa MDH Reiki
is one of the Reiki systems that provides access to this symbol.
Metatron's Cube has 3 main attributes:
• Offers incredible energetic protection and potential for spiritual
ascension;
• Its constant use helps raise your consciousness and awareness;
• Brings balance and harmony wherever you place it;
Metatron's Cube has the following uses:
1. Similar to Merkaba Star, Metatron's Cube is one of the most
potent forms of energetic protection. Within meditation, you
can visualize as you place your physical and energetic body
within the Cube. I recommend an energetic cleansing before
entering such a powerful structure. This will help keep away
negative energies and intentions from exterior physical and
non-physical factors;
2. During meditation or the Reiki self-treatment, you can invoke
the Merkaba Star first and then the Metatron's Cube if you
have access to them. This way, you'll receive one of their
versions that resonates with your current vibration. If you stay
connected to their energy for a prolonged amount of time, your
whole energetic structure will gradually change;
3. Metatron's Cube acts like a cosmic vessel. In meditation, this
structure can help transport your energetic body to other
worlds. From there on, you may receive access to new spiritual
knowledge. Ask your Reiki guides for support. Always keep the
Cube around you as it will filter out residual and unnecessary
energies;

It seems that this symbol was channeled by Christopher Penczak, and
it's not part of any Reiki system.
RA TA RIO helps harmonize the link between the inner-self and the
conscious mind by creating peace and acceptance with one's
shadow-self.
Oftentimes we forget to engage in deep introspections. When we do,
we become unsettled by what we discover. Yet, it's the crucial first
step in healing from within.
Making peace and accepting oneself is a crucial step in your
development, both at an emotional as well as spiritual level.

OM MANI PADME HUM
©ReikiScoop 138
This is not a symbol but a series of concepts that creates one of the
most well-known, powerful mantras.
When taken as a whole concept, Om Mani Padme Hum roughly
translates as: "An impure body becomes pure through the speech
and mind of Buddha - through compassion and altruistic intentions,
like a lotus, aspires to become an indivisible unity through divine
values."
Chanting or listening to music containing this mantra is very
auspicious for your mind, soul, and body. You can listen during
meditations or the Reiki self-treatment.
When played continuously, it has a cleansing effect, raising the
room's vibration.
NOTE: remember that not everyone resonates with this level of
vibration.

©ReikiScoop 140

stability to the mind and soul;
Also, it is known to offer healing properties by removing negative
energies and emotions (such as stress, fear, anxiety) and toxins from

life.

BLESSINGS
This is not a symbol but something you can do in certain situations.
Blessings are part of every religion and spiritual practice. A blessing’s
main attribute is to bring a wave of beneficial energy to support an
action, person, or event towards the higher good.
When someone does you wrong, I recommend blessing their actions
and words in the name of Divinity. Do this with the intention of
turning those negative projections into positive ones.
When doing so, you are basically transforming darkness into light.

One Last Word
To utilize a symbol to its full potential, you need to be attuned to it.
While this is true on most occasions, some of the tokens presented in
this guide do not require attunements.
Allow me to explain.
Once you are attuned to at least levels 1 and 2 in Usui Reiki, you gain
uninterrupted access to the flow of the universal life force energy.
Each additional attunement provides a higher vibration and potential
for spiritual growth.
When you can tap freely into the universal life force energy, you can
also interact with any symbol you resonate with.
The process may take longer than receiving an actual attunement.
Still, you'll be able to integrate at least parts of the energy print of
that specific symbol with patience and discipline.
Here are 3 ways to do this:
1 - Meditate
Remember that symbols have unique vibration levels and connect to
specific manifestations of the universal life force energy.
You can visualize any of the symbols in this guide using simple, self-
guided meditations. This way, you may connect to their energy print
and gradually incorporate them into your structures and daily life.
But know that a proper vibration level is needed to receive all the
symbols' benefits.
©ReikiScoop 172
Mentally activate Cho Ku Rei + Sei He Ki + Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen + the
symbol you wish to connect to.
This will enhance the process of "tuning in" to the energy print of
that symbol.
2 - Activate
This method goes hand in hand with the first one.
After you've completed the meditation try to use it directly. Activate
the symbol in your palms and rest your hands above your chakras or
use it in the Reiki self-treatment.
Generally speaking, the more you activate and learn about a symbol,
the more you connect and integrate it into your energetic structure.
Don't stress too much about matching its exact shape. Your intention
and relationship/experience with that symbol matter more in the
activation process.
3 - Print
In the first instance, this may appear superficial, but seeing an image
stimulates the brain to connect with the vibration of that picture.
Symbols, in particular, generate energy and become more powerful
if they are activated on that print.
Having a symbol in sight will offer a slow but continuous energy
transfer that can prove beneficial over time.
©ReikiScoop 173
You may now activate it using the method presented at the
beginning of this guide. You can do so with one, two, three fingers or
even using your whole hand.
Repeat every day to have a constant source of energy flowing
towards you.
Again, the process may be slower at first, but it does work.
•••
There is a lot of information to digest.
My advice is to embrace the bite-size learning concept. This means
going after the key elements that will help you at this moment,
internalizing them, and only then moving to the next section.
It's a way to avoid procrastination or becoming overwhelmed, but
make the most out of this information.
Remember that you are the leading guide of the universal life force
energy.
You are the one that allows the beneficial energies to enter your life
each day.
By establishing a healthy connection with each element you resonate
with, you develop your spiritual side while growing as an individual.
Always consider changing your vibration and habits for your greater
good. This will have an echo effect and influence the world around
you as well.
Keep shining!
