* Crochet hook suitable with your yarns.
* You can use the same pattern to make smaller or larger toy by using finer or bulkier yarn.

* Finished size: 27 cm.

* I used Himalaya Dolphin Baby and Premier Parfait Chunky yarn 120 m/ 100 g with hook

size 4mm and 14mm safety eyes. If you use different yarn weights, you can choose your

safety eyes with diameter approximate 2 single crochet stitches wide.

* Sewing needle, scissor, fabric glue/hot glue, stitch markers, some pins, fiberfill.

* Pink blush makeup powder or pink acrylic paint.

Some helpful tips and links

- X shape and V shape single crochet stitch: I used

- I used yarn under single crochet (X-shaped stitch)

for the body, arms, legs, head, and when crochet in spiral
rounds. I used yarn over single crochet (V-shaped stitch)

when working in turning rounds/rows, and hair wigs.

- Invisible single crochet decrease: the gap between Wobbly head

2 decrease stitch is smaller when you use invisible decrease.

- Wobbly head: the tube is stuffed inside the neck
will make the doll’s neck stronger.

[Link] Crochet around a foundation chain

Left loop or Back Bump: Look from the front you of

the chain stitch, you will see each chain has a V shape with

a left loop and a right loop, look behind, you will see a back
bump.
- Working around a foundation chain: instead of just

crocheting into the top loops of the starting chain (like you
normally would), you crochet on both sides of it so your

work goes all the way around the chain. To avoid the hole, left loop right loop

crochet into back bump when work on the first side of the
foundation chain.

 - We are working with chunky chenille/velvet yarn, Magic ring with chenille yarn

here’s my small tips:

• I would recommend you do the method “Chain 2

then crochet in the first chain” instead of making a magic

ring. For example: Chain 2, then 6 sc in the first chain,

instead of 6 sc in the magic ring. [Link]

• You can use a lighter to burn a little at the end of the

yarn to avoid shedding of chenille yarn, DO NOT cut it too

close.
- Tips to Crochet Through Both Sides of a Crochet
Piece:
• First, bring the yarn tail from the front to the back,
passing it under your crochet hook.

• Insert the hook through both sides of the round

of your crochet piece and then crochet as indicated in the
pattern.

- Join new yarn on your amigurumi to crochet a

piece:
• Insert the hook through the stitch, wrap the yarn

over your hook, and pull it through this stitch.

• Made as many chains as pattern mentioned and

continue to crochet.

Jacket

Work in spiral rounds. First, make an oval by crocheting

around a foundation chain. Begin with gold.

Rnd 1: Chain 19, start to crochet in the second chain
from the hook: 17 sc, 1 inc4, continue to crochet in the

next stitches on the opposite side of the chain: 3 sc,

1 inc, 8 sc, 1 inc, 3 sc, 1 inc3 (42)

Place a stitch marker in the 31st stitch of Rnd 1 (green
stitch marker), continue to crochet Rnd 2.

Slst in the next stitch and fasten off. We will leave the
remaining side of Rnd 1 unworked.

Attach black yarn in the 31st stitch of Rnd 1 (green stitch 5

marker), pull up a loop on your hook, chain 1 and start to

 Ear: Mark the stitches on Rnd 34, Rnd 35, Rnd 36, we will crochet the ears on these

stitches. The ears should be 5 sts apart from the eyes. Attach skin color yarn on the stitch
number 1, pull up a loop on your hook, chain 1 then crochet 5 dc into the stitch number 2,

next, slst into stitch number 3. Fasten off and weave the yarn tails.

Face:

- Embroider white yarn in the lower 1/3 part of each eyes.

- Sew nose with skin color yarn (2 rounds) between Rnd 35 and Rnd 36, width: 2 sts then

wrap the yarn around it.

- Sew the eyebrows with dark brown thread with 4 sts wide, height: 1 st, between eye and
eyebrow is 2 sts.
- Use pink blush makeup powder or acrylic paint to make the rosy cheek on the doll’s

cheeks.

Begin with purple yarn.

Rnd 1: 8 sc in the magic ring (8)

Rnd 2: 8 inc (16)

Rnd 4: (5 sc, 1 inc) * repeat 4 times (28)

Start to crochet the hair-strands (Strand : S)

Continue to crochet the hair strands after finishing Round 4 of the hair wig. At the end of
each strand, skip 1 stitch and slst in the next stitch of Round 4 unless stated otherwise,
then continue to crochet the next strand. For instance: After finishing S1, skip the first
stitch and slst into the second stitch of Round 4, and continue to crochet S2.
S1: Chain 12, start to crochet in the second chain from the hook: 2 sc, 9 hdc, skip 1 stitch

and slst in the next stitch of Round 4 (11)

S2: Chain 11, start to crochet in the second chain from the hook: 1 sc, 9 hdc, skip 1 stitch

(Note: If you don’t want to count exactly 120 chains, you can crochet as many chains as

necessary to create a length approximately 3 times the height of your doll. For example,
my doll is 27 cm/10.6 inches tall, so I crocheted a strand that was 80 cm ≈ 31.5 inches

long.)

 S17 - S19: Chain 120, slst in the 28th stitch of Round 4 [3 strands]

Fasten off.

 Hair: Secure each strand of hair in its appropriate position on the head using pins. Slowly

remove one strand to apply fabric glue and pin it back down to dry, the wrong side of the
hair wig is up, the right side is glued to the head.

- First, pin Round 1 of the hair wig on the center of the head.
- S1 is in front of the right ear (your left hand), S13 is in front of left ear.

- S2 is above the right ear, S12 is above the left ear.

- Next, pin S3 to S11 to the back part of the head.

- Add fabric glue/ hot glue or sew the hair strands from the center of the head to the pin

- Divide S14-S19 into 3 parts and braid them together. Tie the braid with gold yarn.

- Flip the braid and use purple yarn to sew the braid onto the head.
