1.3 The scope of products

SURGERY 8900 MODULAR Electro-hydraulic operating table (hereinafter referred to


as the operating table) applies to the support to the patient body during the
operation.SURGERY 8900 MODULAR meets various requirements ,such as
chest ,kidney, cholecyst surgery, Endoscopic surgery ,ENT surgery, etc.
1.4 Product performance, the main structure and composition

1.4.1 Product main structure and composition

The product belongs to classⅠ,type B and IPX4 device. The operating table is composed
of table body(include support parts、drive parts and control parts)and accessories.
SURGERY 8900 MODULAR operating table is formed by tabletop(head plate,upper back
plate, neither back plate,kidney bridge,seat plate and leg plate),elevation column, base,
hydraulic system, wired hand remote ,optional control panel on the elevation column and
accessories (Anesthetic screen,arm board,shoulder support ,body support,leg support
and foot plate).

of the table can controlled by the hand remote,can meet kinds of requirement of operation
position.Head plate,leg plate manual part and kidney bridge are manual controlled.

4 Safe working load


The safe working load of the table is 350kg.

5 Using attentions

5.1 Attention
a) The table should be kept in a clean place, never put it in the places where
influenced by atmospheric pressure, temperature, humidity, aeration,
sunshine , or dust and sulfur.
b) Be careful when you transport the table.
c) The table should be kept separately from chemicals.
d) Please pay attention to the supply frequency、electric tension and nominal
impedance.
e) Should choose anti-static cushion.
f) Please pay attention to the movable part.
g) Please pay attention to the socket, please choose the one convenient to cut
the power supply.

5.2 Attentions before using


a) Please read the instruction before using. People who doesn’t know the operating
method is forbidden to use.
b) Check the connect condition of the switches , and be sure they can work.
c) Please confirm all the power line are connected aright, safely.
d) If the external conductors have problems during installation, the device must be
run by the internal power supply.
e) Please pay attention to the movable part.
f) please return the table to the zero position before adjust it to any extremity
position.
g) if the table disn’t use for a long time,please operate all the function again.
5.3 Using attention
a) Please check the operating table from time to time;
b) When you find any problem of the table, use the emergency stop switch,the table
will stp working immediately.if you need desrerilize,please rotate the switch 45 in
clock wise direction;if there have no emergency stop switch,please turn off the
power supply, use the table after inspection.
c) Make sure that the patient won’t touch the table.
d) Please don’t take them down when they are out of work,and contact the
serviceman in time .
e) When change the fuse, you should turn off the power;
f) It should be separated from the magnetic field when using.
h) When it work with high frequency surgical equipment,the equipment should
comply with GB9706.1.

 When you using the operating table,please confirm the connector between the plug and
operating table,or the will use the battery ,if the battery ran out , remember to charging.
 Please charging the table at least one time a week,and each time do not less than 12
hours.

 Remould the table is forbidden.

5.4 Attention after using


a) Please remember to charge after use the battery inside.please begin the surgery
after the battery full recharged.
b) To return to the former condition,and turn it off,cut off the electricity supply;
c) Put the hand remote in the right place;
d) Clean the table after operations.

6 Clean out, disinfection and sterilization

6.1 Clean out

a)Turn off the power (green light off) and unplug the 3-wire power cord before
cleaning.
b)Remove the mattress.
c)The mattress should clean by a moist rag which stained a few cleanser,then dry
by a clean rag.

6.2 Disinfection

a) please use the disinfector without ethyl alcohol ,the disinfector withacetaldehyde
is recommended.
b)Before install the mattress,please make sure the mattress and sticker is dry.

 Remember to plug in the 3-wire power cord in time after cleaning and disinfection of the
operating table, in order to charge the battery.
 Remember to adjust the operating table in lowest position before or after cleaning and
disinfection.

6.3 Available cleanser/disinfectant

a) Weak alkaline solution (soapy water)


b) Ethyl alcohol
c) Quaternary compounds
d) Guardian compounds

6.4 Not available cleanser/disinfectant

a) Alcohol-based cleanser/disinfectant
b) Chlorine or can release chlorine gas cleanser/disinfectant

 Please remember to clean /disinfect by the way in this manual.


 Do not use the cleanser/disinfectant near the high frequency surgical equipment,to
avoid the risk of fire.
 Do not use any mechanical cleaning / disinfecting process.
 Improper cleaning / disinfection methods may cause damage to the device.
 Take appropriate amount of detergent for cleaning, and cloth to remove excess with a
dry cleaner.
 Do not spray the cleaning / disinfectant on joints or crevices directly.
 Do not use high-pressure cleaning / disinfection the units.
 Do not use polish or steel cleaning appliances,when Clean/ disinfect the stainless steel
surface.

7 Method of operation

7.1 Preparations before using

a) electric tension:220V、frequency :60Hz;


b) No objects exist that affect the operations;
c) Confirm if all the power lines are connected well,the switch is in” 0” condition;
d) The operating table is mobile device.when you need move the table,please release
the brake pedal lever.When you need lock the table,press the brake pedal lever .
e) Connect the hand remoter with the table;
f) Please check the power supply before turning it on;
g) Please install the accessories as below;
h) operate the hand remote to adjust the position of the table,please do not press the
same button more than 2 min.

7.2 Operation method

7.2.1 Head plate

 When removing or mounting the head plate, make sure hands clenched the head plate
to avoid it falling and cause equipment damage or personal injury.
 When attaching / detaching the head plate, carefully clip hand.
 Do not install arm support, anesthesia screen and infusion stand on the head plate side
rail, in order to avoid the occurrence of unintended equipment damage or personal
injury.
 When using the head plate, be sure to spread the head plate drapes to avoid infection.
 Be sure to use the appropriate mattress of head plate, in order to keep the patient from
the damage during the process of movement.

7.2.1.1 Install the head plate(picture 2)


1) Two hands grasp the head plate, mounting the head plate plunger into the holes
on the back plate.
2) One hand catch the head plate, the other hand tighten the two locking screws .
Make sure the installation is safe and reliable.

7.2.1.2 Adjust the head plate


1) One hand hold the head plate , the other hand pull out the operating lever a.The
whole head plate can be fold up and down.Screw the operating handle a,the
head plate can be fixed,refer to 3-a.
2) One hand hold the head plate , the other hand pull out the operating lever
b.Head plate head plate panel can fold up and down .Screw the operating handle
b,the head plate panel can be fixed. refer to 3-b.

7.2.1.3 Tear down the head plate


1)One hand hold the head plate ,the other hand loosen the locking screws.
2)Two hands grasp the head plate ,pull out the head plate from the operating table.

 Carefully and slowly downward the head plate,keep the steady of head plate in the
process,in order to avoid the patient from the injury.
 After install the head plate,make sure the head plate is safe and reliable.

7.2.2 Upper back plate

 When you need tear down the upper back plate ,please hold it by your 2 hands,if you
drop the upper back plate,it may cause damage of the device and personal injury.
 When using the upper back plate ,be sure to spread the head plate drapes to avoid
infection.
 When you adjust the position of the patient,please do not touch other movable parts of
the operating table.
 Please remember use the mattress for upper back plate,and check the mattress
condition,if is broken,please change a new one.
7.2.2.1 Upper back plate installation (picture 5)
Please use two hands to hold the upper back plate,press the easy click on the 2 side of
the table,insert the plunger into the end of the hole,then finish assemble.
7.2.2.2 Tear down the upper back plate installation (picture 5)
Please use two hands to hold the upper back plate,press the easy click on the 2 side of
the table,pull out the whole upper back plate.

7.2.3 Leg plate

 When adjusting the leg plate, carefully clip hand.


 Do not place the upper part of patient on the leg plate, so as to avoid the damage of
equipment and the injury of person .
 When using the leg plate, make sure the leg plate had covered with sterile drape to
avoid infection.
 When adjusting the patient position, do not touch the bottom or moving parts of the
operating table tops, carefully pinching.
 Be sure to check the leg plate pad is intact, if it is damaged, replace it.
 Be sure to use the appropriate mattress of head plate, in order to keep the patient from
the damage during the process of movement.

7.2.3.1 Leg plate installation (picture 6)


1) hold up the leg plate and press the button ,insert the leg plate plunger into the
end of the hole,then finish assemble.

7.2.3.2 Leg plate adjustment (picture 6)

1)leg plate upward and downward adjustment(pic 6)

a) One hand hold the end of the leg plate and press the gas spring ,adjust the manual
part leg plate into proper position,loosen the gas spring.
b) Press the hand remote to upward and downward the electric part of the leg plate.
c) Check the safety of head plate

2) Leg plate horizontal adjustment(pic 6)

a) Loosen the level locking handle of the leg plate.


b) Adjust the leg plate into proper position.
c) One hand hold the leg plate,the other hand tighten the level locking handle, locking
the disengaging gear.
d) Check the safety of leg plate

7.2.3.3 Tear down the leg plate


1)Adjust the leg plate in to a horizontal position.
2)Adjust the operating table into a proper position.
3)One hand hold the leg plate,another press the easy click button.
4)Pull out the leg plate ,remember tear down the power line

7.2.4 Upper back plate and leg plate interchange

SURGERY 8900 MODULAR have the function of the upper back plate and leg plate
interchange,it can meets various requirement of the surgery.
Operate method:please tear down the upper back plate and leg plate according to the
7.2.2.2 and 7.2.3.3.Insert the leg plate into the neither back plate direction and insert the
upper back plate into the former leg plate direction.please pay attention that the button
function of the hand remote is same as former.

7.2.5 Install the accessories

The side rails on the both side of operating table is for install the accessories.Insert the
accessories into the fixing clamps ,tighten the screw .
 Please install the accessories after read this operating manual.
 Install the accessories refer to this manual,make sure there are safe.
 The accessories is just use for operating table ,do not use for other occasions.
 Be sure to put this manual near the operating table ,easy for query.
 The accessory is limited to our company's fixing clamps and operating table, do not
use for other manufacturers operating table, or may cause damage or injury.
 Use this accessory in operation, make sure the weight of accessories and patient is
less than 350 kg.

 Prevent the accessories (such as leg support, etc.) from the collision with the wall
when adjust the operating table.
 Make sure the accessories and sheet will not stuck in the operating table moving
parts,in order to protect the equipment.
 When adjust the operating table or patient position, do not touch the accessories,in
order to avoid personal injury.
 When adjust the operating table or patient position, do not touch the bottom of the
table between the operating table or moving parts.

7.2.5.1 Anesthesia screen


1)check before using
Anesthesia screen don’t need special maintenance ,but after prolonged use and
the normal aging may affect accessorize,.Please make sure the accessories is safe

before use.If there have the phenomenon of aging or damage, please stop to use the
accessories, and contact with after-sales man to change the accessories.

 Make sure the accessories is safe before use,if there any problem remember t
contact with the after -service man.
2)Install the anesthesia screen
a) Adjust the tabletop to a appropriate height,keep the table level.
b) Insert the anesthesia screen into the fixing clamp on the guide rail,tighten the
camping knob to fix the anesthesia screen.
c) Put the anesthesia drape on the strut.
d) Make sure the anesthesia screen is safe.

7.2.5.2 Arm support

a) This Arm support can only equipped with our company’s operating table ,use for place
and tighten the arm of patients.

 Please install the arm supports after read this operating manual,make sure there are
safe.
 The arm supports are just use for operating table ,do not use for other occasions.
 Do not sit and press the arm supports

b) check before using


Arm support don’t need special maintenance ,but after prolonged use and the normal
aging may affect accessorize,.Please make sure the arm supports are safe before use.If
there have the phenomenon of aging or damage, please stop to use the arm supports,
and contact with after-sales man to change the arm supports.
c) Install the arm support
1) Adjust the tabletop to appropriate height,keep the table level.
2) One hand hold the pad of arm board ,another hand raise the clamp
lever.Tighten the clamp lever ,put it on the guide rails ,then loosen the clamp
lever.
3) Pull back the angle adjustment knob, adjust the arm board to the appropriate
place.
4) Make sure the arm boards are safe

7.2.5.3 Shoulder support
a) This shoulder support can only with our company’s operating table ,use for support the
shoulder of the patient.
b) Check before using
Shoulder support don’t need special maintenance ,but after prolonged use and the
normal aging may affect accessorize,.Please make sure the shoulder supports are safe
before use.If there have the phenomenon of aging or damage, please stop to use the
shoulder support, and contact with after-sales man to change the shoulder supports.
c) Install the shoulder support
a) Adjust the tabletop to a appropriate height,keep the table level.
b) One hand hold the shoulder support holder and insert it into the fixing
clamp ,another hand tighten tighten knob.
c) Loosen the two tighten knob ,adjust the shoulder support into appropriate
position.
d) Make sure the shoulder supports are safe.

7.2.5.4 Body support

a) This body support can only with our company’s operating table ,use for support the
body of the patient
b) Check before using Body support don’t need special maintenance ,but after
prolonged use and the normal aging may affect accessorize,.Please make sure the
body supports are safe before use.If there have the phenomenon of aging or damage,
please stop to use the body support, and contact with after-sales man to change the
body supports.
c) Install the body support
1) Adjust the tabletop to a appropriate height,keep the table level.
2) One hand hold the body support holder and insert it into the fixing
clamp ,another hand tighten tighten knob.
3) Loosen the two tighten knob ,adjust the body support into appropriate
position.
4) Make sure the body supports are safe.

7.2.5.5 Body support

a) This leg support can only with our company’s operating table ,use for support the leg of
the patient.
b) Check before using
Leg support don’t need special maintenance ,but after prolonged use and the
normal aging may affect accessorize.Please make sure the leg supports are safe
before use.If there have the phenomenon of aging or damage, please stop to use
the leg support, and contact with after-sales man to change the leg supports.
c) Install the body support
1) Adjust the tabletop to a appropriate height,keep the table level.
2) Install the long fixing clamps on the guider rails(The long slot inside the long
fixing clamps should be card in the guide rail’s screw washer).
3) One hand hold the leg support holder and insert it into the long fixing clamp
and adjust to a proper height,another hand tighten locking screw handle..
4) Screw the locking cap into the external screw thread on the upper of the leg
support,adjust the leg support to a proper height,then screw the hand shank .
5) Make sure the leg supports are safe.

7.2.5.6 Body support


a)This foot plate can only with our company’s operating table ,use for support the foot of
the patient.
b)Check before using
Foot plate don’t need special maintenance ,but after prolonged use and
the normal aging may affect accessorize.Please make sure the leg supports
are safe before use.If there have the phenomenon of aging or damage,
please stop to use the foot plate, and contact with after-sales man to
change the foot plate.
c)Install the Foot plate
a)Adjust the tabletop to a appropriate height,keep the table level.
b)One hand hold the foot plate holder and insert it into the fixing clamp
and adjust to a proper height,another hand tighten locking screw handle..

8 Inspection and maintenance

8.1Inspection

Before use the operating table you should check the the following items each time(at least once a
day):
1) The cleaning/disinfection of the operating table before using.
2) The lock system of the operating table.
3) The completeness of the mattress.
4) The mattress fixed on the operating table.
5) The security of the electrical and mechanical components.
6) All the function is working normally.

8.2 Maintenance

8.2.1

Check the oil mass in side the oil tank:There is enough oil in the oil pump when leave the factory.
If the have spill when transportation may result in the elevation of the oil pump can not reach the
maximum stroke.please keep the oil clean,please change the oil 2 year once.

8.2.2

In order to prolong its service life and the flexible of the operating table ,you need to pay attention
to the daily maintenance of the operating table and each of the movable portion should always be
filled with oil.

8.2.3

After the surgery,do not clean the tabletop by cleanser and disinfection with highly corrosive.

8.2.4

After surgery,the tabletop must be in the minimum position when cleaning up or lay up.

8.2.5 The maintenance of battery

a) When the battery stored for more than three months, should be charge the battery, but
definitely avoid charging in the environment exceeds 50 ℃.
b) The maintenance of battery must by the professionals, please contact with the after
service of the factory
c) Do not use the over-discharge or over-charge batteries.

8.2.6

The useful life of equipment is 10 years, scrap parts of the device should according to the local
environmental protection laws and regulations processing

10 Common problems and solutions

10.1 Attention before repair

a) All the electric elements , hydraulic elements and oil pump are in the base of the table. When
you repair them, you should open the cover of the base firstly,make sure you have cut off the
electricity and power before doing this;
b) Method of open the base:adjust the tabletop to the highest position,screw off the screw,
and then take it apart from the table;
c) When you open the cover,Please remove the collet of line pipe firstly;

10.2 Common problems and solutions

 Only the personnel have authorized by our company can do the maintenance ,others may
cause the personal injury or equipment damage.
 When repair the equipment,pay attention to cut off the power.

3.1 SURGERY 8900 MODULAR custom position setup

1) Press unlock the hand remote, then will be the standby screen,as the picture:
