The 7th International Aru Cup Invitation Karate Tournament will be held on November 09,
2025 Sunday at the Pasig Central Elementary School Gymnasium, Caruncho Ave. Barangay San
Nicholas, Pasig City, in line with 75th birth Anniversary of Hanshi Alberto Presincula. We would like
to invite you and your team to participate in this prestigious event.
As in every Aru Cup Invitational Karate Tournament, we generate a lot of competitors
enabling our students to have a good experience.
Karate is a peaceful art for gentlemen. It strives to bring out harmony amongst fellowmen.
However the state of Sports Karate is so politicized today, and we would like to break boundaries
and walls through a gesture of unity and peace via sports competition which was also the purpose
of the Olympic Games. So whatever our political affinity, must have no bearing in joining the 7th
International Aru Cup Invitation Karate Tournament.

II. Tournament Requirements

A. PARTICIPATION FEE
● P 600.00 /event/category
P 1,800.00 for team event
Payment: thru Gcash of Ma’am jane masiero (Gcash account) and/or Onsite payment.
● All fees are non-refundable upon registration
● No limit to number of entries

B. SAFETY, EQUIPMENT, AND SUPPLY

● Mandatory use of mouth guard in kumite events.
● Optional use of chest protector for female kumite player and body protector for male and
female kumite player.
● Use of approved shin/instep guards and gloves. WKMO or WKF

C. REQUIREMENTS
● All participants below 17 years old must submit any proof of age (photocopy) to the Organizing
committee. (Please bring the original copy of the document for verification purposes upon
request of the organizing committee).

D. COACHES’ ATTIRE
● All coaches must wear proper attire; jogging pants, t-shirt or team jacket or track suit.

WHITE BELT: Kihon kata only. Shiho tsuki, kihon kata ichi, Taikyuko, Gakku ichi, repetition of kata is allowed. BEST KATA
YELLOW BELT: Kata includes Heian/Pinan 1, 2 Shinsei, Gekkisai 1, 2, Fukyu kata only, repetition of kata is allowed. BEST KATA

WHITE BELT: Only punch to the body are allowed, kicks are not allowed and Will be penalized.
YELLOW BELT: Kick and punch to body are allowed. Kicks and punch to the head will be penalized.
ORANGE BELT: Kick and punch to body are allowed. Kicks and punch to the head will be penalized.
GREEN BLUE PURPLE: Kicks and punch to head and body are allowed with strict compliance to the WKMO Kumite Rules.
BROWN BELT: Kicks and punch to head and body are allowed with strict compliance to the WKMO Kumite Rules.

FULL CONTACT: Head, Face, Neck - with kicks and knees. Jodan knee techniques are only allowed
from (16 years and older) and only with single hand crossed grasp. Abdomen - with kicks,
punches, elbows, hands open in all positions. Chest - with kicks, knees, fists, elbows, hands
open in all positions. Back - with kicks, knees, fists, elbows, hands open in all positions. Side -
with kicks, knees, fists, elbows, hands open in all positions. Legs - with kicks, knees, fists,

physician to be submitted during the tournament.
