Day 01 - Airport - Negombo Hotel Travel time: Approximately 15 mts | Travel Distance: 6 km Arrival at the Airport. You will be met by our Trippers Asia Team member.

Transfer to the Hotel in Negombo. If you will arrive morning, you can visit Negombo lagoon and around area in the evening or you can get the rest in the evening. Over night stay : Negombo Hotel

Day 02 - Negombo - Puttalama - Anuradhapura Travel time: Approximately 2 hours 30 mts | Travel Distance: 176 km

Get the Breakfast at Hotel, then transfer to the Anuradapura. Anuradhapura first became a capital in 330 BC under Pandukabhaya, but it was under DevanampiyaTissa during whose reign Buddhism reached Sri Lanka, that it first raised to great importance. Soon Anuradhapura became a great and glittering city only to fall before a South Indian invasion a fate that was to befall it repeatedly for more than 1000 years. Anuradhapura is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dinner and Over night stay in Anuradhapura Over night stay : Anuradhapura

Day 03 - Anuradhapura - Polonnaruwa - Dambulla Travel time: Approximately 2hours 45mts | Travel Distance:175 km Get the Breakfast at the hotel, then transfer to the Polonnaruwa.

Polonnaruwa was a royal capital of both the Chola and Sinhalese kingdoms.Under King Parakramabahu(I) Polonnaruwa reached its zenith. The king erected huge buildings, planned beautiful parks and. as a crowning achievement, created a 2500-hectare tank, which was so large that it was named the Parakrama Samudra (Sea of Parakrama). The present lake incorporates three older tanks, so it may not be the actual tank he created. Evening At leisure, OR Optional Jeep safari to Minneriya National Park to witness the Wild Elephants. Minneriya National Park Dominated by the ancient Minneriya Tank, this national park has plenty of scrub and light forest in its 8890 hectares to provide shelter for its toque macaques, sambar deer leopards and elephants to name a few. The dry season from June to September, is the best time to visit. By then, water in the tank has dried up, exposing grasses and shoots to grazing animals; elephants, which number up to 150, come to feed and bathe; and flocks of birds, such as little cormorants and painted storks, fish in the shallow waters. Day 04 - Dambulla - Sigiriya - Dambulla Travel time: Approximately 40mts | Travel Distance: 40 km

Get the Breakfast at the hotel, then transfer to the Sigiriya. Sigiriya originally called Sihagiri (Remembrance Rock) and later dubbed Sigiriya (Lion Rock), the rock mass is actually the hardened manturies by numerous hand-hewn additions and modifications die rock may have been inhabited in prehistoric times. British archaeologist HCP Bell discovered the ruins in 1898 which were further excavated by British explorer John Still in 1907. Whatever exact purposes Sigiriya may have served in the past, the visible ruins today suggest a significant urban site complete with relatively sophisticated architecture engineering, urban planning, hydraulic technology, gardening and art.UNESCO declared Sigiriya a World Heritage Site in 1982.

Piduranagala Temple Pidurangala Royal Cave Temple was built by King kassyapa in 5th century A.D.sigiriya & this temple and 1ts Meditation monastery is very important place as Archaeological ( Dala wehera). Day 05 - Dambulla - Mathale - Kandy Travel time: Approximately 1 hour 10mts | Travel Distance: 74 km Get the Breakfast at the hotel, then transfer to the visit Dambulla Cave Temples.

Dambulla Cave Temples The beautiful Royal Rock Temple sits 100m to 150m above the road in the southern part of Dambulla. The hike up to the temples begins along a vast, sloping rock face with steps in some places. There are superb views over the surrounding countryside from the level of the caves; Sigiriya is clearly visible.The caves' history as a place of worship is thought to date from around the 1st century BC, when King Valagamba (Vattajamini Ahhaya), driven out of Anuradhapura, There are five separate caves containing about 150 Buddha images. Most of the paintings in the temples date from the 19th century. Transfer to Kandy On the way you can visit Spice gardens in Mathale. There are many spice gardens along the road between Matale and Aluvihara. The various treats you can expect on a tour of the gardens include milk less cocoa tea sweetened with vanilla and banana, and various creams and potions claimed to make hair shine or cure flatulence.

Then Reach to kandy , Kandy - a lovely exotic city, the Hill Capital and last stronghold of the Sinhala Kings is a UNESCO World Heritage Site which retains an aura of grandeur, time has not affected.You have to chance to visit Gem museum and Wooden Mask factory. Day 06 - Kandy- Peradeniya - Nuwara Eliya Travel time: Approximately 1 hour 10mts | Travel Distance: 75 km Get the Breakfast at the hotel, then transfer to visit the Temple of the tooth (Dalada Maligawa) .

Temple of the tooth (Dalada Maligawa) The famous Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of the sacred Tooth Relic in Kandy is the most venerated place of worship for Buddhists throughout the world. Peradeniya Royal botanical Garden noted for its rich and varied collections of tropical woody plants. Occupying 59 hectares (146 acres), it has about 4,000 species of plants. The most important specimens of the garden include palms, some of which are planted in impressive avenues. Significant, too, are the collections of orchids, gymnosperms, and flowering trees. Transfer to Nuwara Eliya On the way you have to chance visit Tea factory, you can get a idea about tea processing and

drink a Cup of Tea. And you can visit Ramboda waterfall. Nuwara Eliya Nuwara Eliya is a mountain station at 1,868 m (6,128 ft) of altitude, in a splendid landscape. Day 07 - Nuwara Eliya - Pinnawala - Colombo Travel time: Approximately 3 hours | Travel Distance: 185 km Get the Breakfast at the hotel, then transfer to visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage It was established in 1975 by the Sri Lanka Wildlife department. This 24 acres large elephant orphanage is an also breeding place for elephants, more than twenty elephants were born since 1984, and it has the greatest herd of elephants in captivity in the world. Transfer to Colombo Colombo, commercial hub and capital of Sri Lanka is throbbing city that reflects the trade culture of the past and showcases some historic colonial buildings. The city served as the principal seaport in the past and it continues to do so. But the historical sites replete with colonial architectural marvels and ruins constitute the major attractions drawing thousands of domestic and foreign travelers every year. Day 08 - Colombo - Negombo Travel time: Approximately 45 mts| Travel Distance: 36 km Get the Breakfast at the hotel, If you have time for departure, morning we can visit Colombo

museum and city tour. Colombo Museum The Colombo Museum as it was called at the beginning was established on 1st January 1877. It founder was Sir William Henry Gregory, the British Governor of Ceylon (Sri Lanka) at the time. The Royal Asiatic Society (CB) was instrumental in bringing to the notice of Gregory on his appointment as Governor in 1872 the need for a public museum with much difficulty the approval of the legislative council was obtained within a year. The Architect of the Public Works Department, J.G. Smither was able to prepare the plans for new structure on Italian architectural style. Evening transfer to Negombo for departure.
