EMPLOYMENT HISTORY: RITZ CAMERA CENTERS, INC. / BOATERS WORLD, Beltsville, Maryland -Director of Loss Prevention / Asset Protection December 1, 1997 to April 15, 2011 Responsibilities Ritz Camera Centers, Inc.: Corporate responsibility for all loss prevention, asset protection, pre-employment and investigative actions for a privately held retail chain with two store divisions totaling 1,200 locations and four distribution facilities. Accomplishments - Ritz Camera Centers, Inc.: Created a start-up loss prevention department and program infrastructure. Assisted in the development and creation of a data warehouse and exception-reporting program to recognize and report suspect point of sale conditions indicative of fraud, paper error or other acts of intentional abuse or carelessness. Between 1998 and 2000 personally trained all corporate senior management and 90 District and Regional field managers on location in one-day formal seminars covering a large number of loss prevention subjects with focus on internal theft investigation and interview techniques to reduce shrinkage and liability. Beginning in 1999, results were achieved by utilizing various programs designed to increase the detection, reporting and successful resolution of internal thefts. Since then, the number of successful internal investigations has dramatically increased resulting in an overall reduction of inventory shrinkage. This has also had a positive effect on the number of loss related claims involving criminal misconduct and terminations resulting in a 30 percent reduction to the prior year while increasing restitution recoveries collected by 40 percent. In October 2002, the acquisition of Wolf camera resulted in the positive enlargement of the department transitioning it from a single LP Director and staffs of internal auditors to the formation of a separate LP Division with the addition of four Regional Loss Prevention Managers, a Corporate LP Operations Manager and Facilities Protection team. In January 2002, an internal program to reduce and control shrinkage was designed and presented to all senior field management of the company requesting their direct involvement. Within the first year of the programs inception there was an immediate reduction in shrinkage. Within the third year of the program shrinkage was reduced by 6.5 Million-Dollars. The program has since been widely accepted and is supported at all levels of management resulting in the controlled maintenance of shrinkage at levels far beneath the current industry average. In 2010 the shrinkage was reduced to a new low for the Company, coming in at 0.62%. RELIABLE STORES, INC., Columbia, Maryland - Assistant Vice President, Loss Prevention/Asset Protection October 1991 to November 31, 1997 ASSET PROTECTION SPECIALISTS, INC., (Reliable Subsidiary) Columbia, Maryland - President October 1993 to November 31, 1997 Responsibilities - Reliable Stores, Inc.: Corporate responsibility for all loss prevention, asset protection, preemployment screening and investigative actions for a privately held retail chain with 80 store locations and two distribution facilities. The Company operated three retail selling divisions comprised of full line furniture, jewelry, and La-Z-Boy franchise stores, in addition to a subsidiary company, Asset Protection Specialists, Inc., which provided loss prevention services to the parent company, as well as other retail clients and related businesses.

Accomplishments - Reliable Stores, Inc.: Created a start-up loss prevention department, which ultimately resulted in the formation of a subsidiary company and a management staff comprised of two loss prevention managers. The annual shrinkage was reduced over a period of five consecutive years going from 1.81% of sales at its peak in 1991 to 0.18% of sales in 1996. Responsibilities Asset Protection Specialists, Inc.: Corporate President, responsible to Board of Directors for all aspects of this wholly-owned subsidiary, which provided a full line of loss prevention consulting services to retail clients as well as other types of businesses, in addition to the parent company. Accomplishments Asset Protection Specialists, Inc..: Founded Asset Protection Specialists, Inc in October, 1993 from its inception, APS demonstrated three consecutive years of increased sales, escalating from sales of 10,500.00 in 1993 to annual revenues of $260,000.00 in 1996.

Accomplishments: During the initial and only year of business, produced $65,000 in revenues and secured a major corporation, Reliable Stores, Inc. as a client.

KAY JEWELERS, INC., Alexandria, Virginia -Director of Security & Store Audit, March 1984 to December 1990 Responsibilities: Corporate responsibility for all loss prevention, pre-employment screening, investigative, and store audit functions for the nations largest publicly-held jewelry store chain at that time, consisting of 500 store locations in 33 States, with 1989 revenues of $423 million. Accomplishments: Created a start-up loss prevention department, which ultimately resulted in corporate responsibility for store audit and a management staff of 14 regional loss prevention managers and store audit associates, with an annual operating budget in excess of $2 million. The 1989 shrinkage results were improved by 1.7 million to the previous year, resulting in a corporate shrinkage loss of 1.2 %. Of sales. During the preceding four-year period, shrinkage losses were reduced and held to 1.5% of sales.
