CASE STUDY OF ORGANIZATIONAL DESIGN

The company Melborp Solutions was founded in 1988 by Alberto and Filomena.
by that time they were one of the first companies to provide design services
web pages to promote others.

They are currently facing a problem where there is non-compliance with the
orders to your clients, both in the requirements and requested features
like in the delivery time.

The company has a total of 15 employees, where 10 people are


web designers and the other 5 perform multiple tasks
administrative, sales, marketing, financial, among others, without functions
clearly defined for each of them. Additionally, there are no policies
clear for human talent management, nor a defined strategic planning
where the company clearly defines its mission or what it expects to achieve.

A group of managers was hired to visit the facilities of the


company, analyze its processes, its current situation, and promote a solution to
problem, the group of administrators identifies that:

Each of the employees who develops the client's page is the one who
know in depth, their colleagues only have knowledge of the
clients in their charge.
The employees who belong to the website development department
web has no connection with the sales or marketing personnel.
To approve any page design, it is necessary to have the
authorization from Mrs. Filomena, who is one of the owners of the
company, on many occasions is obtaining contracts in others
cities and therefore does not remain in the organization.
Most employees have remained with the company since
it was founded, its highest education degree is high school, even
those who are leaders of areas.
Some employees complain because the company has never acquired a
design software, they are simply working with traditional Office.
The competition in web design for companies has grown
considerably, however despite the fact that the employees have
insisting on knowing the work of other companies, the owners express
that they have the best way to do it thanks to organizational talent
with which they count.
The responsibility for the problems when delivering a job to
