SPECIFICATION FOR FRP TANK

1. OBJECTIVE This specification defined the minimum requirement in design, fabrication, inspection, checking, testing and preparation for delivery of FRP tank. 2. REFERENCE STANDARDS
BS EN 13121-3- GRP tanks and vessels for use above ground. Design and workmanship BS 4994:1987- Specification for design and construction of vessels and tanks in reinforced plastics ASME B16.5 - Standard Pipe Flanges up to and including 24 inches nominal

D-7070- Condensate Polishing Unit 22OP-00604-MA-0007- General Arrangement Resin Hopper Tank

3. DESIGN DATA The detail design data required for designing shall refer to 22OP-00604-MA-0007General Arrangement Resin Hopper Tank The contractor is responsible for producing engineering calculation, fabrication and testing procedures. All procedures and calculation shall submit to purchaser for review. The drilling of flanges shall conform to ASME B 16.5, 150 pound raised face flange. The base plate of support leg shall be drill as per calculated data. The lifting lug shall be designed as per calculated data. 4. FABRICATION Contractor shall submit all required documents and get approval before proceeding any work.
