11 Giovanni Aerosol Products AQA

This document discusses air quality data and tools available through the Giovanni system. It provides an overview of satellite-based aerosol and air quality datasets from NASA instruments like MODIS, OMI, MISR, CALIOP and modeled data. These datasets include aerosol optical depth, UV aerosol index, PM2.5 concentrations and more. Giovanni allows users to visualize these datasets in maps and time series, compare with ground-based PM2.5 measurements, and download data files. Examples are shown of using these tools to monitor wildfires, air pollution over China, and vertical aerosol profiles from CALIOP.
