RAJASTHAN STATE ROAD
TRANSPORT CORPORATION
RSRTC was established on 1 st October, 1964 under the Road Transport Act 1950, with the objective of providing economic, adequate, punctual and efficient services to the travelling public in the state with 8 Depots and 421 Buses plying 45,000 kms, carrying 29,000 passengers per day.
Currently, 4500 buses across 51 depots are plying more than 16 lakh kilometers and carrying more than 9 lakh passengers per day. RSRTC
The network of RSRTC is spread all over Rajasthan and other states providing all sorts of service to general public.
These services are provided by RSRTC by its own fleet in which buses are purchased from various manufacturers like TATA, ASHOK LEYLAND etc.
OBJECTIVE 1. Offers low fares for passengers everyday. 2. Spacious and convenient Bus Stands with all amenities for waiting and in-transit passengers. 3. Offers the only means of regularly scheduled intercity transportation to most cities, towns and small villages across the state and neighbouring states. 4. Offers reservation facilities for all deluxe and express buses. 5. Provides additional seats during peak travel periods to accommodate passengers. 6. As a socially conscious body, offers concessions in fares and facilities to physically challenged.
Types of Bus Services There are various types of services offered by RSRTC
1. Volvo-Air conditioned services. 2. Sleeper AC Coach. 3. Air Conditioned (Pink Line services) 4. Super Deluxe (Silver Line services) 5. Long distance express and night services (Blue Line services) 6. Inter-state services 7. Ordinary services 7 Ps in RSRTC PEOPLE
At present RSRTC have 21,000 employees.
The employees comprise of Zonal Managers, Chief Managers, Traffic Inspectors, Assistant Traffic Inspectors, Drivers, Conductors etc. PLACE
RSRTC has its Head Office in Jaipur and depots in almost all the cities of Rajasthan which provides connecting buses to villages and inter-city buses round the clock.
