Features and Optimization Functions
GNFD-200010 GSM MR Analysis Available iManager Nastar V600R001 and later versions. 1.0 Optimization Functions MR Overview Report provides TRX wise TOPN TRX with lowest performance. The counters used are i)Uplink/Downlink Mean received Quality (Full Rate/Half Rate) ii)Uplink/Downlink Mean received Level (Full Rate/Half Rate) iii)Timing Advance Distribution iv)Link Balance 2.0 Object- BSC, cell, cell group, and the combination of these objects. 3.0 Input Data and Measurement Setup- Persist Time (Minute), Period, and Measure Step, Objects, Parameters for RxQuality, RxLevel and TA. i) Uplink Quality X MR of a Value (%) Y , Downlink Quality X MR of a Value (%) Y X indicates the level of downlink quality. It is an integer between 1 and 7. The default value is 4. Y indicates the threshold. It is an integer from 1 to 100. The default value is 10. ii)Uplink Level X MR of dBm (%) Y X indicates the value of uplink level. It can be -100, -95, -90, -85, -80, -75, or -70. The default value is-90. Y indicates the threshold. It is an integer from 1 to 100. The default value is 70. iii)Downlink Level X MR of dBm (%) Y X indicates the value of downlink level. It can be -100, -95, -90, -85, -80, -75, or -70. The default value is -90. Y indicates the threshold. It is an integer from 1 to 100. The default value is 40. iv) TA X MR of a Value (%) Y X indicates the TA value. It is an integer from 1 to63. The default value is 6. Y indicates the threshold. It is an integer from 1 to 100. The default value is 50. v) Downlink Level -Uplink Level > X MR of dB (%) Y X indicates the level difference. It can be -15, -10,-6, -3, or -1. The default value is -15. Y indicates the threshold. It is an integer from 1 to 100. The default value is 40. vi) Downlink Level - Uplink Level < X MR of dB (%) Y X indicates the level difference. It can be 1, 3, 6, 10,or 15. The default value is 15. Y indicates the threshold. It is an integer from 1 to 100. The default value is 40. vii) Total Number of MR < X If the number of received MRs is smaller than X, theTRX is problematic. X indicates the threshold. It is an integer from 1 to 9999. The default value is 200. viii) TopN =X Indicates the number of TopN counters. You canquery the information about X TRXs whose performance is the poorest as indicated by the selected counter. X indicates the number of TopN counters. It is an integer from 1 to 99. The default value is 10. 4.0 Output Data- i) MR Overview List Weak coverage analysis- TRXs with a low TA value, low level, and poor quality are listed. Interfered cells- Cells with high level and poor quality are listed. Over coverage analysis- You can compare the TA values and the number of MRs to analyze the distribution and check whether the cell is a over-coverage cell. Unbalance of the uplink and downlink- The cells whose uplink and downlink are obviously unbalanced are listed. Other problems- Problems occurring on the network, such as small number of MRs and null or low traffic of a TRX. ii) MR Query and Comparison Analysis.- Abnormal Cell can be queried for performance indicators and Cell, Cell Group or BSC performance can be compared after any net work activity.
GNFD-200020 GSM Neighboring Cell Analysis Available iManager Nastar V600R001 and later versions. 1.0 Optimization Functions -Add Missing Neighboring Cells -Delete Redundant Neighboring Cells -Measuring No. of Handovers -Supports geographic display of Neighboring Cells. -Export the Neighboring Cell Configuration file to CME interface.
2.0 Object- Cell.
3.0 Input Data and Measurement Setup- Persist Time (Minute), Period, and Measure Step ,User need to set up a measurement task to test cell, add test ARFCN to the BA list. Display Number of Undefined Neighboring Cells- Indicates that only the TopN frequencies of undefined neighboring cells are displayed. N can be any integer from 20 to 150. The default value is 30. Neighboring Cell Rank No.1 - Undefined neighboring cells whose sequence number is smaller than or equal to the value of this parameter are missing neighboring cells. This parameter can be set to any integer from 1 to 32. The default value is 6. Neighboring Cell Rank No.2- Defined cells whose sequence number is greater than or equal to the value of this parameter are redundant neighboring cells. This parameter can be set to any integer from 1 to 32. The default value is 22. Neighboring Cell Integrated Priority TH- Indicates the threshold of the integrated priority of neighboring cells. Undefined neighboring cells whose sequence number is smaller than the value of Neighboring Cell Rank No.1 or whose integrated priority is greater than this threshold and sequence number is between Neighboring Cell Rank No.1 and Neighboring Cell Rank No.2 are missing neighboring cells. Defined neighboring cells whose sequence number is greater than the value of Neighboring Cell Rank No.2 are redundant neighboring cells. This parameter can be set to a floating number between 0 and 100. It can be a floating number with four digits after the decimal point. The default value is 2.

1.0 Optimization Functions Provides Uplink interference strength of BCCH and TCH in test cells.
2.0 Object- Cell.
3.0 Input Data and Measurement Setup- Persist Time (Minute), Period, and Measure Step ,User need to set up a measurement task to test cell, ARFCN to be scanned, Band, Cell Object.
4.0 Output Data- Tables and Charts

1.0 Optimization Functions GSM complaint analysis support of the Nastar simply analyzes the abnormal calls Nastar allows users to query history call records, thus facilitating network problem location.
2.0 Object- Subscriber level
3.0 Input Data and Measurement Setup- User need to set up GSM complaint analysis support task on the Nastar.
4.0 Output Data- Filtered Call Records with highlighting abnormal call records in red color.

1.0 Optimization Functions Customizing and selecting concerned VIP subscribers or VIP subscriber groups. Periodically monitoring the variation of KPI values of specified VIP subscribers. Highlighting the VIP subscribers whose KPIs are abnormal. Analyzing abnormal KPIs after monitoring. (Users can navigate to the function of complaint analysis support.) Requiring that the Nastar analyze all calls of the VIP subscribers and rank all the active cells of VIP subscribers/VIP subscriber groups. Supporting the geographic display of active cells of VIP subscribers.

3.0 Input Data and Measurement Setup- User need to register a GSM VIP measurement task and a GSM VIP analysis task on the Nastar.
4.0 Output Data- Reports showing VIP behaviour.

1.0 Optimization Functions Improving frequency optimization efficiency -Determining interference strength based on MRs provided by users on the existing network rather than depending on drive tests. -Checking the interference of indoor MSs, which cannot be checked by drive tests. -Improving the accuracy of frequency optimization. Replacing inappropriate ARFCNs that are detected during drive tests and performance data analysis . Finding ARFCNs of expansion cells.

3.0 Input Data and Measurement Setup- User need to register a neighboring GSM cell measurement task and a GSM frequency analysis task on the Nastar.
4.0 Output Data- Interference Matrix Report for different frequencies. A GSM frequency optimization report consists of the following information. - Basic information table of test cells - Interference table of BCCH ARFCNs that can be selected - Interference table of the TCH ARFCNs that can be selected - TopN frequency interference chart

1.0 Optimization Functions - Analyzing test data after tests are complete and generating the following results: - Neighboring cell ranking based on priorities - Missing neighboring cells - Redundant neighboring cells - Possible neighboring cells
