that are high in nutrients such as iron,
vitamins, proteins, calcium and

Good nutrition fed to your child can
protect him from diseases.

Mothers should limit toddlers intake of
high sodium snacks and fast foods.
Choose snacks such as fresh fruits and
vegetables over high sodium food like
chicken nuggets and burger.
Choose and feed your child with low salt
or homemade food with less salt.
Children between two six years old
requires four to six glasses of plain water.
Crucial to ensuring the proper and healthy
of toddlers.
Try to serve protein EVERYDAY, even
during snack time.
16 oz of milk with 1 oz of meat ensure the
proper intake of protein daily.
Vital for components such as hemoglobin,
the carrier of oxygen in the blood.
BUT if you over consume your toddler
with calcium and milk, this can lead to iron
deficiency anemia.
This is because, milk and calcium is
known to hinder the absorption of iron.
Among the most important vitamins your
toddler needs are
For vision, growth and development.
For absorption of iron, maintain
capillaries, bones and teeth.

normal growth.
Water-soluble vitamins helps form red blood
cell and formation of genetic materials.
