1. BARRANQUILLAS CARNIVAL:This carnival is

celebrated in Barranquilla, Colombia. Its on
the second weekend in February. Colombians
have 4 famous events in the carnival The
battle of Flowers The Great Parade The
Orchestra Festival and The Valentine
Festival. They end the carnival with the death
of Joselito Carnival.

2. RIO DE JANEIROS
CARNIVAL
The annual carnival in RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil,
started around 1840. Brazilians celebrate this
famous carnival at the beginning of February.
They offer prizes for both costume and music;
the competition results in varied and
imaginative entries in both categories. It is the
most famous carnival in the world.

3. APRIL FOOLS DAY

Its celebrated in U.S.A on April 1st. American play small tricks on

their best friends and relatives by making them believe
facts/things which are not real or by putting them in the
embarrassing situation that make them feel ridiculous in front of
others. One common trick on this day is making an appointment
with somebody and then not showing up. These are some other
practical jokes: putting salt in the sugar bowl for the next person to
use it; college students set their clocks an hour behind, so their
roommates show up at the wrong class. Most April Fool jokes are in
a good fun and arent meant to offend anyone.

4. THE DAY OF THE DEAD

Its celebrated in Mexico on November 2nd. Its a time
when Mexican families spend time at the cementary
visiting the graves of their relatives, cleaning up and
painting the headstones. They always arrange flowers
for the dead and light candles. They offer food to their
dead and then they have lunch together there.
