The audience in The Circus Maximus was pretty much everyone in
Ancient Rome who get into the stadium first.
The reason the chariot races were held were to keep the people
busy and entertained.

There were about 24 races held in a days program.
Everyone could come watch the chariot races because the tickets
were free.

CHARIOTEERS EQUIPPED?
The charioteers would have their chariot be made by a
blacksmith.
The chariots were not as heavy as they looked.
They had special outfits called a xystis.

Football is the only sport or activity held in Bryant-Denny Stadium.
During the main season it is used for games and practice.
