TIME SIGNATURE AND FEEL

Duple meter: beat is divided into two equal parts (one and two and). Typical time signatures are:
4/4, 2/4, 3/4
5/4 and 7/4 are example, are odd time signatures in which beat is divided by 2.

Odd meter: modulates between duple and triple (one two, one two three). Typical time signatures are:
5/8, 7/8, 11/8 , 13/8
Can also include 16th notes (one e and ah, two e and ah, one two threeas denominator such as:
10/8, 11/16. 13/16, 15/16, 19/16, 21/16
