focus in improving the lives of children around
the world. The program doesnt encapsulate
one specific mission but instead has a general
focus over all areas of social responsibility,
with 100different programs found in 60

The P&G Fund provides funding
for philanthropic activities and
programs, with particular emphasis
on bringing P&Gs corporate social
responsibility strategy to life in P&G

P&G has developed a low-cost
technology to purify even heavily
contaminated drinking water so that it
meets World Health Organization standards
for safe drinking water. P&G gives P&G
water purifier packets around the
Philippines. Each packet is able to treat up
to 10 liters of water.

Since the program began in 2006,
Pantene Beautiful Lengths has created
more than 50,000 wigs from the generous
hair donations which have been the
driving force behind the cause.

P&G created Tide Loads of Hope, a
mobile laundry program that provides
clean clothes to families affected by
natural disaster.
P&G Linis, Lusog will kick off in three Makati
Elementary Schools, each to be given a suite of
P&G products, permanent hand washing facilities,
cleaning aids, and educational materials. Along
with these are hundreds of Linis, Lusog hygiene kits
for the school children containing educational
material, Safeguard antibacterial soaps, Oral B
toothbrushes, and Head and Shoulders anti-
dandruff shampoos.
Angat Kita, which directly translates to
increasing sales and uplifting you, aims to help
interested sari-sari store entrepreneurs realize their
full potential to generate income, sustain livelihood
and ultimately uplift their current status. Participants
will need to attend a series of training workshops
developed by P&G retail experts before graduating
and gaining access to seed capital to put to
practice what they learned.
The e.Studyante program will provide
beneficiary school children with child-
friendly laptops from the One Laptop per
Child (OLPC) Association and internet
connectivity from Smart.
The Healthy Dagupan Libreng Paligo para
sa mga Bata is a joint project of the LGU
and multinational Procter and Gamble
(P&G) Philippines, the same company that
partnered with the city government for the
Waste to Worth project in the city.
