INTRODUCTION
O Antivirus software is a program that is
designed to find and neutralize malware and
viruses.

O These programs are able to scan your


computers hard drive and identify files that
are malicious or suspicious by delete,
quarantine, or trigger an alert when it detects
files that are harmful.
Steps to run
kaspersky antivirus
Before you start:

O Make sure your computer meets the system


requirements for Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2017.
O Check if there are other Kaspersky Lab products
or incompatible anti-virus software from other
vendors.
O Remove detected incompatible software.
O Close all running applications.
Standard installation
of kaspersky antivirus
O Review Kaspersky Lab's End User License
Agreement. Read the agreement carefully and if
you agree to all of its terms, click Continue.
Step 4
O Read the Kaspersky Security Network statement.
If you accept it, leave the check box selected.
O Together with Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2017,
Kaspersky Secure Connection will be installed to
ensure protected connection to the Internet. Read
the message about the additional protection
components and click Install.
O Right after clicking the button Install, you may see the
notification from the User account control (UAC)
service. To proceed with the installation, enter your
administrative password and click Yes in the User
account control window.
O Wait for the installation to complete. Make sure that the
check box Run Kaspersky Anti-Virus is selected and click
the Finish button to complete the installation.
O You can take a tour through the app features by
clicking Continue. After you have installed and run the
application, activate Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2017.
How to activate Kaspersky
Anti-Virus 2017
O After you install Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2017, the
application will ask you for an activation code.
You can try the product for 30 days or activate the
product with the activation code.

O You can find the activation code in the Quick


Start Guide if you have a boxed version or in the
email message from the store if you bought the
code online.

commercial licence are provided at kaspersky

If you do not have an activation code, buy it at the


Kaspersky Lab official online store.

To renew an expired commercial license, go to


License Renewal & Upgrade Center.
