Introduction
What is an easypaisa Mobile Account?

After the successful launch of Over-The-Counter services like Bill Pay and
Money Transfer, easypaisa is introducing Mobile Accounts where Telenor
subscribers will be able to use Bill Pay, Money Transfer and a whole host of
new services from their own mobile phones

Easypaisa Mobile Accounts are virtual Bank Accounts opened for Telenor
subscribers to access from their mobile phones at any time

Users only have to go to a Merchant to Deposit Cash or Withdraw Cash


from their easypaisa Mobile Account. All other services can be accessed on
the users mobile phone at any time

This service is available for only Telenor subscribers

Registration is only available only at Telenor SSCs, Telenor Franchises and


Tameer Bank Branches for now

easypaisa Account Product Details
1. A Customer has to come to an Telenor Franchise/SSC or Tameer Branch
to open an easypaisa Mobile Account
2. Account Opening Request takes 10 minutes to enter into the system
3. Subscriber will be called back in 3 hours after Nadra CNIC verification.
Account will be activated and Subscriber will be asked to select a PIN

Transactional Limits Rs.10,000/day, Rs.20,000/month, Rs.1,20,000/year


These limits do not apply on Transfer In
Maximum Balance of Rs. 60,000 in the account at any time
SBP requirements dictate the account limits that need to be in place. For
higher limits, the Customer needs to open a bank account with Tameer
Bank first.

Account Opening Fee = Rs. 50 + tax (non-refundable)


easypaisa Account Number and PIN

For transactional security purposes and to minimize errors, the


system will generate an easypaisa Mobile Account number at the
time of account opening:

After account creation, the customer would be asked to create a


secret 5 digit numeric PIN code for his easypaisa Mobile Account.
Similar to an ATM PIN code, this secret PIN code will be used to
authorize all transactions from the easypaisa Mobile Account.
Current easypaisa Account Services
Cash Deposit:
Subscribers can visit any of the 5500+ easypaisa shops to deposit cash into his
easypaisa Mobile Account. Account transactional limits apply.
Fee + FED is deducted from subscriber account, merchant need not to collect fee
from customer
Cash Withdrawal:
Subscribers can visit any of the 5500+ easypaisa shops to withdraw cash from his
easypaisa Mobile Account. Account transactional limits apply.
Fee + FED is deducted from subscriber account, merchant need not to collect fee
from customer
Utility Bill Payment:
Subscribers can pay any partner Utility Bill from his easypaisa Mobile Account
using his phone at any where, at any time. Account transactional limits apply.
Funds Transfer:
Subscribers can move funds from his easypaisa Mobile Account to any other
easypaisa Mobile Account, or any person with a valid CNIC number, using his
phone at any where, at any time. Account transactional limits apply.

Subscribers can look up the Account Balance of his easypaisa Mobile Account
Mini Statement:
Subscriber can look up the last 5 transactions from his easypaisa Mobile Account
PIN Management:
Subscribers can setup or change his secret 5 digit PIN to his easypaisa Mobile
Account
Favorites:
Subscribers can setup favorite Utility Bills, or favorite Easypaisa Mobile Accounts to
avoid having to enter them again and again.
Transfer In / Out:
Subscribers can log transfer funds from their Tameer Bank account directly into
their easypaisa Mobile Account or vice versa, from their easypaisa Mobile Account
to their Tameer Bank account at any time
Account transaction limits do not apply for Transfer In
easypaisa Secure Online Web Login

Subscribers can log into the secure, online web portal through the
Internet to perform all easypaisa Mobile Account transactions from
the web

Select Utility Type (Electricity, Gas, Telephone)
Select utility company (KESC, MEPCO etc)

Add Beneficiary Transfer Out
Select Add/Update Beneficiary List Transfer Out

A list of already added transfer out account is displayed

Click on Add to add new (Click on already added transfer out short name to edit)

Select Bank as Tameer

Select Account Type (Current, Savings)

Enter Account Number

Enter easy to remember Short Name

Press Next to continue


Schedule Payments
Add a Beneficiary Using Add/Update Benificairy List

Now go to Payments Schedule Payments

Click on Add

Select the beneficiary from the list displayed

Select frequency (daily/monthly/yearly/once)

Enter start date and end date

Enter Amount and click ok


Add/Update Transfer In
Select Add/Update Transfer In Account
Select Bank as Tameer
Select Account Type (Current, Savings)
Enter Account Number
Enter easy to remember Short Name
Press Next to continue
Now call helpline and register a request to authorize your Tameer bank
account details
Subscriber will receive a call from Tameer Bank and after verification,
subscriber can transfer funds from/to Tameer bank account
