Welder & Supervisor Training

QA/QC Welder Training The welder must endorse initials on the Welding Consumables Distribution Form maintained by the material controller.
Withdraw only sufficient quantities of
welding consumable for a four (4) hour period of work.
After taking the Portable Oven to site
at once plug in to the electric supply
All low-hydrogen welding electrodes
shall be maintained in heated portable oven. The lid of the oven should be closed following the withdrawal of each withdrawal electrodes. Welder Training Welder Training The welder should not have other Electrode Stored in his portable oven expect E7016
Each welder should have portable
quivers with his welder no
All welds shall be in accordance with
an approved WPS and with same material.
The portable quiver shall be kept in a
good condition so that the temperature can be maintained at min 100C
At End of the Day, all portable Oven
must be returned to the originating welding store for checking Welder Training Before welding the surface should be clean free from paint, oil, rust.
During welding proper wind protection

After welding the weld profile should
be free from any defect, so clean the surface properly before going to another job Welder Training Supervisor Training Sub-con Supervisor should perform the receiving inspection for all welding consumable materials
The sub-con should assign one
welding material controller for handling welding consumable materials
Welding consumable (E7016) should
be dried to 300 to 350C for 1 hour then transfer the electrode to holding oven (or) change the temperature to 150C after drying in the drying oven itself. Supervisor Training The sub-con should maintain welding material Issue & Return status and daily drying & holding control sheet
At End of the Day, all portable Oven
must be returned to the originating welding store for checking. All issued and unused electrodes shall be stored in holding oven with Temp-150C.
