• The business culture is essential to develop a successful
relationship through interaction with our potential customers
or suppliers.

• UAE is the second largest economy in the Persian Gulf after


Saudi Arabia. The country has become the economic hub of
the area and provides distribution, consumption and business
services to surrounding countries.

• In the United Arab Emirates business culture the clothing is
different from the Spanish culture. In general people should
dress in elegant clothes and avoid casual clothing.

• The most popular places to do business in UAE are so-called
Majilis (to sit down) normally situated in important hotels or
Diwan when the meeting takes place in the employer´s home.

• Giving presents is usual, either during the first contact or


when closing a deal. First meeting frequently start with an

• In terms of punctuality it is expected that the foreigner be
