The goal of the SAP Notes Search is not to display as many SAP Notes as
possible, but to find the right solution in an effective way. The SAP Notes
Search support you with SAP Standard Technology (TREX).

The highest quality of search results are provided with a system based Notes Search. In this
case the Notes Search is linked with the System Data application. Only those SAP Notes are
displayed that are relevant for your system. SAP Notes for lower Support Packages levels are
no longer displayed, minimizing the time to solution.
By using the SAP EarlyWatch Alert, your System and Release data will be maintained
automatically.

With a system based Notes Search, only the Notes
that are valid for that particular system will be
displayed. SAP Notes for lower Support Packages
levels are no longer displayed.

Personalizing SAP TopNotes & SAP HotNews
1. Access alias /notes SAP
HotNews. Click on Personalize
to define the filters.
2. Enter the name of the new
filter and press Create Filter. APO
3. Specify your SAP system in
the next three steps.
4. Save your selections on
the last screen.The filter has
now been created.

Display SAP TopNotes & SAP HotNews
After the Personalization you can access your SAP HotNews and SAP
TopNotes directly from your homepage at SAP Support Portal.
Select Note and choose Confirm to hide it.
Click the “+“ sign to display all hidden Notes.
Click Personalize to create new filters
or to modify existing ones.

Report on Side-Effects of SAP Notes (1)
When applying one or more Support Packages, it is possible that some notes
in the Support Packages may cause harmful side-effects in other areas of
your SAP system. When SAP has identifies this situation, a new note will be
created to correct the side-effect problem.
By specifying your SAP Product and Support Packages, you will receive the
appropriate report via email.

Report on Side-Effects of SAP Notes (2)
The Side-Effect report of SAP Notes will be send to you via e-mail.
The Report generates a list of SAP Notes that will compensate the side-
effects generated by the initial SAP Note.
