PURCHASE MODULE

– The purchase module helps the managers to purchase any new


item using the information system and has three features

– MASTERS
– NOTICE INVITING TENDER
– PURCHASE ORDER
MASTER MODULE MENU

– It enables manager to
enter the required details
of purchase for preparing
the purchase order
NOTICE INVITING TENDER

– Managers print the list of


approved suppliers for
supplying the required raw
materials.
PO MODULE MENU

– It allows the manager to create


PO and print as per the
requirement size and it also
permits manager to print
godown- wise requirements
STORE MENU

– The second feature of the IMTS is the store menu as shown in the following screen. This feature helps
the managers to store the inventory in the most efficient manner.

– 3. Material inspection slip (MIS)
– 4. Stock reception voucher (SRV)
– 5. Over short reject or dispose module (OSRD)
– 6. Outward dispatch module (OD)

CLAIM MODULE

– During the transit if any damages happened for


the ordered items then NFL can claim for those
damages
– NFL can also claim for the shortage or non supply
of the ordered materials from the supplier
– Generally IMIS helps the manager to record the
info regarding time, quality and quantity of
material supplied by suppliers
MISCELLANEOUS MODULE

– Generally this module is used for other


miscellaneous queries which cant be
clubbed under other modules
– Production manager uses this module for
any general queries related to PO, MIS, SRV
& GIR
– The info related to PO, ,MIS, GIR can be
accessed using individual number & also
used to print the GIR index register.
OCTROI MODULE

– In this module the details regarding any


stock of goods can be accessed
– A manager can enter and print the octroi
through this below form
BENEFITS OF STORE MODULE

– It helps in determining the appropriate value of inventory at any point of


time and a tool for preparation of monthly reports and the price store
ledger
– It helps in assessing the user requirements (i.e., material identifying)
– It helps in placing the order online to the customers as well as suppliers
– It helps in preparing the comparative statement
– It helps in the follow-up of the order
– It gives information about the issue, rejection, receipt of inventory,
inventory in hand & that stored at the warehouse.
