Access to the Collection
The library adopts the open shelves system
enabling the users to freely browse the collection of
the library
The organization of the library collection is based
on the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) Scheme
wherein the collection is classified into ten (10)
main divisions.
DDC 10 Main Classes
000-099 | COMPUTER SCIENCE, INFORMATION & GENERAL WORKS
100-199 | PHILOSOPHY & PSYCHOLOGY
200-299 | RELIGION
300-399 | SOCIAL SCIENCE
400-499 | LANGUAGE
500-599 | PURE SCIENCE
600-699 | APPLIED SCIENCE
700-799 | ARTS & RECREATION
800-899 | LITERATURE
900-999| HISTORY AND GEOGRAPHY
Some pointers to keep in mind:
- NO ID NO ENTRY.
- The school’s rules and regulations are strictly imposed inside the library
- Sign in the logbook / log sheet at all times upon entering the library
premises for statistical purposes.
- Cell phones and other gadgets are required to be on silent mode.
- Showing acts of public display of affection (“PDA”) is strictly prohibited.
- Library card is needed in checking out books
- The borrower with overdue books is required to pay for the overdue fines
as a punishment.

Note:
The comprehensive statement of the Library Rules and Regulations will be
posted on the bulletin board.
