"Langston Hughes' 'Dreams Deferred' Analysis"

Here are my answers to the questions: 1. My dream is to help as many people as I can through developing artificial intelligence technologies. 2. My plans to achieve this dream are to continue my studies in computer science and AI, gain relevant work experience in the field, and eventually start my own company focused on using AI to solve important problems. 3. Some potential hindrances include challenges in securing funding to start a company, technical difficulties that could arise while developing new technologies, and ensuring the technologies I help create are always developed and applied safely and for the benefit of humanity. It will also require perseverance and dedication to see the work through during difficult periods.

Dreams Deferred
by Langston Hughes
James Mercer
.
Langston Hughes
(February 1, 1902 –
May 22, 1967) was an
American poet, social
activist, novelist,
playwright, and
columnist from
Joplin, Missouri.
In 1951, African American people
in America were seen as the
second –classed citizens even the
Civil War was over. They had to
attend poorly equipped schools
and worked as lowly jobs like
porters, ditch-diggers, servants
and so on.
They could not use some public
facilities as the whites, including
restrooms, restaurants, theaters or
parks. In a bus, they had to take
the back seat.
In that case, Hughes wanted to
express this situation into a poem.
