Lubes Products and Services
Aiming at bringing to the Shipping Industry Full Lubrication solutions,
Gulf Marine focuses particularly on Lubrication services and tailor made
delivery solutions wherever and whenever they are needed.

• Today Gulf Oil Marine is present in more than 50 countries and 700
ports. Gulf Oil Marine has designed a development plan over 12
months to get the best port coverage satisfying any shipping
customer demand.
• As a founding member of the Sealub Alliance, Gulf Oil Marine
associates with Oil partners or Marine key suppliers in a wide range of
countries to widely propose its products and services
• Gulf Oil Marine services are all designed to ensure smooth operation
of the vessel, reliability of the supply, problem solving attitude, and
optimal maintenance of the vessel engine

to answer any delivery order from a shipping customer

Extended Ports coverage to more than 1,000 ports before the end of 2010

Set up the highest standards of the Industry in terms of Customer Service and Technical Services

Serve adequately each segment of the Shipping industry: Focus on Full Supply Reliability, Raw
Materials safety supply, Technical services and keep in mind the vessel’s budget

Always propose innovative lubrication solutions to the shipping customers (like SEAMATE blending
Onboard) acting as a Marine Lubricants Solutions provider with a long term vision

2. GULF PRESENCE IN MOTORSPORT

Gulf has an in depth experience of Challenges and Top level


competitions with a strong field experience in Endurance,
since the 70’s

Gulf has a long legacy in endurance racing and has participated in


elite racing events like Formula 1, Le Mans 24 hrs, Le Mans Series.
Winning is always the Objective: win in 1976 and win in 2008 on
GT1 Category

3. RAW MATERIAL SUPPLIES

BASE OILS:
• Gulf Marine cashes on Gulf Oil international strong presence in Middle East & as well as priviledged
partnerships in Eastern Europe to secure its Base Oils supply based on terms agreements ensuring large
volumes supplies and good control of its own logistics

ADDITIVES:
• Gulf Oil Marine enjoys a portfolio of OEM approved package of Additives formulas of which sourcing is
ensured by traditional additives manufacturers
• However, Gulf Oil marine has also secured an exclusive and alternative supply of Additives approved by
OEM (MAN Diesel, Wartsila) thus ensuring independent supply of such. Today, Gulf Oil Marine enjoys
required quantities of Additives enough not to suffer any shortage due to allocation / quotas of Additives

=> Gulf Oil Marine aims at providing the required quantities of products at the required place. In this sense,
it works in securing supplies and production in every place concerned by deliveries to vessels
=> Gulf Oil Marine focuses on Reliability of Supply
=> Gulf Oil Marine extended network, its development and the commitment of its members guarantees the
trouble free and reactive service at every delivery port.

4. MAIN GRADES OEM APPROVALS

Gulf Oil Marine has secured exclusive and


alternative Package of Additives:

• Shortages of main chemical components


(phenates, sulfonates) affect the supply capability
of main additives manufacturers and result in spot
or lengthy shortages on the marine market
becoming volatile
• Gulf cashes on its chosen Additive suppliers who
developped an alternative formulation approved
by main OEM (MAN Diesel, Wartsila, Pielstick)
• Gulf Oil Marine will remain untouched by
traditional additive suppliers shortages having
guaranteed its quantities of Additives needed for
its customers consumption.

Full Service providing detailed and commented report on your e-
mail address and data management on their website
• LUBTRUST Onboard Laboratory will be provided to the vessel’s
chief engineer with adequate training (Water content, TBN,
Viscosity, Insolubles tests)
