It is a required subject in the K to 12
where the learners are provided with the
opportunities to:
become familiar with the workplace;
simulate employment processes; and
apply their competencies in the areas
of specialization/ applied subjects in
authentic work environments.

What will be the learner’s
uniforms?
Mon. – Thu. – Corporate Attire

(Printed) paired with jeans.
Will the learners stay at the
venue for 2 months straight?
The learners are required to
undergo immersion for 8 hours
per day or 40 hours per week.
Learners will shift from another
establishment after rendering 160
hours from the first venue of work
immersion.

Work immersion requires parental consent.
PARENTAL CONSENT
We are the parent/guardian of May
Ramos. We have given him/her our
permission to undergo 2 months of
immersion program as a requirement of the
Senior High School curriculum. We are
aware of the risks that our son/daughter
may be exposed to during the immersion
program. Just the same, we allow him/her
without any reservation to attend the said
training.
We also understand that our
son/daughter will not be allowed
to graduate if he/she has
academic deficiencies, and that
he/she may only be conferred the
degree HIGH SCHOOL upon
finishing all the academic
requirements and obligations as
prescribed by the school and
DepEd.

The safety of the learners is our
primary concern.
• Although one of the
objectives of the Work
Immersions is to develop
skills that are relevant to the
needs of the job market in
the area, Work Immersion
should not be reduced to a
mere requirements tools of
a Partner Institutions.
• Expenses in securing partnership, such as
the travel expense of the School Partnership
Focal Person and the Immersion Teacher,
shall be charged to the school’s local funds
or MOOE. Subject to availability of funds ,
travel expenses of learners to Work
Immersion venue will also be charged to
MOOE and other funds, details of which shall
be provided in a separate set of Guidelines.
Expenses for Immersion Venue rental,
utilities, and/ or other direct or incidental
expenses of the Partner Institution shall not
be allowed.
• Schools and students shall
not be asked to pay the SHS
Partner Institutions for any
Work Immersion activity
conducted. Fees for Work
Immersion must only be set
after consultation with
parents.
• The partnerships shall be governed by
existing laws and DepED issuances such as:
-Child Portection Policy
-Anti-Bullying Act
-Act Declaring Sexual Harassment Unlawful in
the -Employment, Education, or Training
Environment and for Other Purposes
-Civil Code
-Department of Labor and Employment
-TESDA
