DESCRIPTION
New religious movement (NRM), the
generally accepted term for what is
sometimes called, often
with pejorative connotations, a “cult.”
The term new religious movement has
been applied to all new faiths that
have arisen worldwide over the past
several centuries.
 A new religious movement (NRM) is
a religious community or spiritual group
of modern origins, which has a
peripheral place within its nation's
dominant religious culture. NRMs may
be novel in origin or they may be part of
a wider religion, in which case they will
be distinct from pre-existing
denominations.
NEW RELIGIOUS MOVEMENT
may be understood as a
subcategory of social
movements—that
is, organized efforts to cause or
prevent change

 Jesus is Lord Movement- founded
by a former atheist, activist and a
professor at Polytechnic University
of the Philippines. So from a non-
believer who became a believer of
Jesus Christ. In the Philippines
alone, it has 2M members
nationwide.

MOVEMENT
a movement of spiritual renewal
within the Catholic Church that
incorporates aspects of both Catholic
and Charismatic Movement practice
with an emphasis on having a
personal relationship with Jesus and
expressing the gifts of the Holy
Spirit.[1]
