Living in a hustling city – Mumbai having running speedy life we have to


travel From place to another also during the heavy rainfalls and umbrellas
are not the Proper solution to it is as I am a fashion student I personally
experience this problem As a designing student we have to carry portfolio
bags and many more materials Because of this I have always stuck in
rain like how to handle the bags and the Umbrella at the same time also I
have seen many people who are facing this problems so to make our
hands free I thought of designing a umbrella raincoat Which can be worn
above the clothes to save from heavy rains. The circumference area so the
water eventually falls down and doesn’t touch our body. It is easy to hold our
bags because we wear it and our hands free. My product raincoat umbrella
Is inspire by mushroom because of the similar shape

SWATCH AND TECHNIQUE BOARD

The product includes of water proof fabric which save us from rainfall. Elastic
is used for wear ability. Metallic flexible wire is used for functioning of the
umbrella rain coat. This helps the raincoat to open and close and keep in bag.
Drawstrings are used to loosen and tighten the cap of raincoat umbrella. Fabric
painting and ruffles are used to enhance the look of the umbrella raincoat
which is inspired by fabric painting.
