District level Training Workshop

• The DIO is responsible for ensuring timely completion of district training workshop
as per guidelines.
• Training materials: OG, FAQ (for medical officers), FAQ (for health workers),
pamphlet (for mobilizers)
• The backdrop, standees and station flex has to be printed by the district (Prototypes
shared in the pendrive)
• At least one member from the Immunization partner organizations in the State
(WHO-NPSP, UNICEF, UNDP, JSI) will facilitate and monitor the District ToT
using the standard training monitoring formats
• The facilitators will only be those who have been trained in the state workshop
including representatives from partner agencies
• For documentation, the attendance sheet, pre/post test questionnaire and feedback
format should be shared with the SEPIO
• All sessions must be interactive
• The agenda below should be strictly followed

Block Level Training Workshop: Health Workers

• Block MOIC/BMO is responsible for timely completion of the vaccinators


trainings as per guidelines.
• Trainings are to be conducted at block level only by facilitators trained at the
state/district level ToT
• The block should plan to train all the ANMs/LHVs and health supervisors in
the 4 hour vaccinators training at block level.
• They will be provided with one FAQ for Health Worker and one Mobilizer
pamphlet
• Each batch should be of 30 participants and cadre wise attendance should be
monitored closely.
• All sessions should be interactive
• The agenda below should be strictly followed

Block Level Training Workshop: Mobilizers

• Block MOIC/BMO is responsible for timely completion of the trainings as


per guidelines.
• The block should plan to train all the ASHAs and AWWs in the 2 hour
mobilizers at block level.
• They will be provided with one Mobilizer pamphlet (Hindi)
• They have to be sensitized to inform caregivers about the benefits of the
Rotavirus vaccine and on the importance of follow up of drop outs.
• Trainings are to be conducted at block level only by facilitators trained at
the state/district level ToT
• Each batch should be of 30 participants and cadre wise attendance should
be monitored closely.
• All sessions should be interactive
• The agenda below should be strictly followed
