Pamantasan NG Lungsod NG Maynila College of Architecture and Urban Planning

The document discusses concepts related to culture and proxemics. It defines culture as the meanings and behaviors groups develop and share over time. It also discusses the concept of territoriality in animals and how it regulates density and coordinates group activities. Territoriality is seen in humans through the defense of private property. The document then defines proxemics as the study of how people use and perceive personal space across different cultures and situations. It outlines four areas of personal territory: public, social, personal, and intimate space.
