Criteria and Qualifications
• Traditionally, successful candidates have graduated from medical school within the preceding five years and
have scores of at least 240 on USMLE Step I and Step II, with no more than one attempt for each exam including
the passing attempt. Still, there are no strict criteria for selection, and each application is reviewed on its own
merit.

• General Information
• Applications will be accepted only through ERAS.
• Our application process and applicant interviews for the 2021 residency match will be done online.
• We will be using the Zoom Video Communication application for our online interviews
• Additional interview instructions will be sent individually to selected applicants
• The Internal Medicine Residency Program accepts U.S. Citizens, Permanent U.S. Residents, and J1 visa applicants. The
residency program does not sponsor H1 visas.
• U.S. clinical experience is not a requirement, but is highly encouraged.

• A minimum USMLE Step 1 score of 220 on the first attempt.
