 Os adjetivos de posse aparecem sempre acompanhados

de um substantivo.

 Em inglês, há um adjetivo de posse para cada pronome

pessoal. Ele indica a quem pertence o substantivo da frase.

3) What are their occupations?/ What do they do?

[Qual a profissão deles/delas?

 Para responder, dizemos:

Com palavras que começam com som de consoante (por

exemplo: teacher /student) usamos

Com palavras que começam com som de vogal (por

exemplo: engineer/architect) usamos

A/AN - um, uma

Em inglês sempre usamos A/An antes de “jobs and
professions”

Ex: I am a teacher and he is an architect.

A/AN não são usados antes de substantivos

no plural.
