books, newspapers, magazines, journals, online
portals etc.

SURVEY
- Is a commonly-used method of collecting
information about a population of interest.
The population may be composed of a
group of individuals.
INTERVIEW

- Is a conversation for gathering information. It is an


appropriate method when there is a need to collect in-
depth information on people’s opinions, thoughts,
experiences, and feelings.
OBSERVATIONS

- As the name implies, it is a way of collecting data


through observing. Observation data collection method
is classified as a participatory study, because the
researcher has to immerse herself/himself in the setting
where her/his respondents are, while taking notes and
recording.
