Publishing :- New Delhi (since October 1995) by Outlook Group, whose founding editor-in chief is
Vinod Mehta.

Outlook, the weekly general interest English and Hindi news magazine published in India was first
issued in October 1995 with Vinod Mehta as the editor in chief, it is owned by Rajan Raheja Group.
The Publisher is Outlook Pvt.Ltd. It features contents from politics, sports, cinema, and stories of
broad interest.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This is because the main source of revenue for any publishing group is advertising and an advertiser would like to
know the facts and figures before investing his money in advertising. Outlook is part of the Rajan Raheja Group
which made its beginning in the construction business and after building a huge presence in the realty market, the
Group diversified laterally into manufacturing, financial services and media. The magazine division of Outlook
consists of Outlook, Outlook Money, Outlook Traveler, Outlook Hindi, and Outlook Profit & Outlook Business.
Moreover, it has taken over the sales & marketing of Newsweek, an international news magazine and Marie Claire,
an international women’s magazine. The purpose of the project is to identify the segments for the newly launched
magazine in business-to-business markets and promoting these magazines by creating awareness among the
potential business clients in generating sales for Outlook India Ltd. Now-a-days, a new marketing concept of
“SPACE SELLING” has arisen in the print media; say it, newspapers or magazines. These new promotional tools
comprises of Strip, Flap, Cover-on Cover in order to give customized solution to the business clients.

LEARNING OUTCOMES
In today’s competitive world we management interns have to put lot of hard work to survive in
a business world, we always need to be attentive to get functioned with the corporate world.
Glad that this Industrial training was an integral part of Management Program, as it aimed to
provide the me with an adequate exposure of various operations that took place in a company.
I, as a Management intern was engaged with Outlook Group of Magazine , I worked in a
subscription division for 2 months. It was a very educative professional experience and
thereby gaining a overview of the corporate work culture.
