LCW3 - The Best Experience of Your Life

The document is a lesson plan for a Life Class discussing how new birth allows believers to open their spiritual eyes, be born into a life of holiness, and be sealed by the Holy Spirit. It includes bible verses on these topics, a matching activity with colored paper, and a challenge for students to read their notes and books daily. The lesson also refers to testimonies and uses props like cups of water, iodine, and bleach to illustrate points about how believers are cleansed, sanctified, and revived.

NEW BIRTH ALLOWS US TO:
OPEN OUR SPIRITUAL EYES

1 Corinthians 1:18

For the message of the cross is

foolishness to those who are
perishing, but to us who are being
saved, it is the power of God.
NEW BIRTH ALLOWS US TO:
OPEN OUR SPIRITUAL EYES

 Receiving the new nature that comes from God allows

us to see how His kingdom is established in our lives.

 Faith starts to grow in our hearts in the measure by

which we connect to the Word of God.
NEW BIRTH ALLOWS US TO:
BE BORN INTO A LIFE OF HOLINESS

Romans 12:1

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and

sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to
offer your bodies as a living
sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God –
this is your true and proper worship..
NEW BIRTH ALLOWS US TO:
BE BORN INTO A LIFE OF HOLINESS

 When we decide to become part of the family of God, the

Holy Spirit comes to dwell in us and transform our being
into a holy being.

 Contact with the Word of God sanctifies us.

NEW BIRTH ALLOWS US TO:
BE SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT
Romans 12:1

And you also were included in Christ when you heard

the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation.
When you believed, you were marked in him with a
seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit
guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of
those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his
glory.
NEW BIRTH ALLOWS US TO:
BE SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT
 The new birth carries the seal of the Holy Spirit who comes to
dwell in us, meaning it cannot be invalidated or revoked.

 We should ask the Holy Spirit to clothe us in His holiness

every day and to allow us to experience all the benefits of the
new birth.
How is new birth made evident?
How can we know when someone has not been born again?
