INTRODUCTION TO ORGANIZATION
 It was established as a private company on 16th December, 1967 (Poush 1 st,
2024) and was converted into a Corporation vide Rastriya Beema Sansthan
(RBS)Act, 1968 on 15th December, 1968 (Poush 1st, 2025).
 The RBS was established by a decision of the then Nepal Government to
mobilize the internal resources and capital for national development
 RBS is the only insurance company that provide both life and non-life insurance.
 Mission:
• Facilitating the citizens and nations with each and every category of insurance
looking towards welfare not only profit.
 Vision:
• Becoming a consistent, reliable and dependent in the name of insurance
PRODUCT AND SERVICES
Products and the services of the Sansthan have been broadly classified as
follows:
 Whole life policy
 Endowment Life assurance Plan
 Children Marriage & education Endowment Plan
 Jeevan Sathi Beema
 Anticipate life insurance
 Term life insurance
 Collective Endowment Life Insurance
INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE
 Internship Activities

1. As I was placed in the first premium department


• provide the policy number to the policy holder.
2. Recording the information about the policy holder with the help of their
documentation and receipt number  
3. Now I have to print all the information that is provided to me in the computer screen
which is call receipt, which should be printed in three copies. First copy should be
attached to the policy holder holder’s document, second one should be given to the
cash counter to pay his or her premium and third one is filed in the office document
for the future preference.
INTERNSHIP ACHIEVEMENT
 Came to be familiar with the various insurance terms and terminologies.
 Learnt the process of typical workflow in the RBS.
 Learnt basics of media planning and how the money of client is invested to
generate the best possible outcome.
 Learnt how to keep records of all the policy holder.
 Knew the process of providing the policy number to the policy holder.
 Developed communication and interpersonal skill.
 Developed positive attitudes.
 Time management.
 Record keeping.
 Networking

Working at RBS gave internee an opportunity to gain valuable insights into the working of a real
organization. The experience at RBS will surely guide the internee in future career path. The
internee is grateful and proud to have had worked in a reputed organization like RBS. During the
course of internship the internee has learnt a lot of other aspects other than normal chores such
as to socialize with the people, to deal with the senior staffs to make the working environment
cozier and friendlier, and has also learnt that the behavioral issues are most important inside the
organization. After the completion of the bachelor’s degree, when intern pursue the career in any
organization, our learning from this internship program will surely payoff.
CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS.

 Conclusion
• Understood the value of team work, interpersonal communication,
• Importance of personal and public relation.
• Got opportunity to know about the insurance environment as well as the
functioning of the insurance company.
• Learnt that real working environment and practical exposures are quite different
from the theoretical knowledge that we have learned in the classroom.
• The practical skills play vital role in an organization much more than the
theoretical knowledge.
Recommendation to the college

 College should give proper guideline to the students and also help
them in preparing there internship report.
 Internship opportunities must be provided by the college so that
students can easily find the appropriate organization for doing
internship.
 College should consult the organizations and ask the internee
performances.
 College should provide necessary information to students regarding
internship, organizations and how to perform there
