3.0 Cited Problems

3.1 The use of tangible class record is now subject to defacement


due to poor handling and unprecedented factors.

3.2 Accessibility to students’record imposes inconvenience to


those who have lost their copies.

3.3 Grades cannot be easily viewed by concerned students without


going to the school and claiming their report cards.

3.4 Searching for grades in the part of the Registrar is time costly.

3.5 The existing process of enrollment can cause redundancy on the


input of data such as re-enrollment of subjects previously und
ertaken.
4.0 Functions of the Proposed System
The proposed system, Polomolok National High School Student
Information and Progress (PNHSSIP), shall provide online access to
student's grades as well as enrollment.

5.0 Features of the Proposed System


The proposed system shall contain the following features:
5.1.1 Log in feature for both students and teachers
5.1.2 Student's copy of report card with inputted grades
5.1.3 Copy of grading sheet to be filled out by the teachers.
5.1.4 Enrollment of students.
5.1.5 Copy of official list of students per section per year level.
5.2 Programming Language and Database
5.2.1 Front End: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
5.2.3 Back End: PHP, MySQL

6.0 Reason for the Choice


The researchers choose this system because of the
convenience that it can provide. With the present pandemic, it
is absolutely relevant to both the targeted beneficiaries. An
easier access to enrollment and grades spares the students
the need to travel just to get their report cards. This system
offers convenience not just to students but to the teachers as
well. Also, to keep up with the digital trend of inputting
grades which is already practiced by many educational
institutions.
7.0 Target Users/Beneficiaries
All students and teachers of Polomolok National High
School.
