God's Justice and Wrath

God executes perfect justice against evildoers and rewards the righteous. His justice includes rectoral justice in establishing just laws, remunerative justice in rewarding obedience, and retributive justice in punishing sin. God's wrath is also righteous and immutable, reserved for the unrepentant on the day of judgment, where they will suffer eternal condemnation in hellfire. However, God provided a propitiation in Jesus Christ for those who have faith to be saved from his wrath.

God's Justice
God punishes the evil works and the evildoer itself. H

God will not do wickedly, and the Almighty will not p

he evil itself. He acts according to His righteousness a
nd He is always just in actions and decisions.

"For you are not a God who delights in wickedness; e

vil may not dwell with you. The boastful shall not sta

God's Justice
According to Psalms 99:4, "The King in his might loves ju
stice. You have established equity; you have executed jus
tice and righteousness in Jacob."

2. Remunerative Justice- According to Louis Berkhof, "It i

s really an expression of the divine love, dealing out its b
ounties, not on the basis of strict merit, for the creature
can establish no absolute merit before the Creator, but a
ccording to promise and agreement, Luke 17:10; I Cor. 4:

God's Wrath
According to A.W. Pink, "The wrath of God is eternal
detestation of all unrighteousness. It is the displeasur
e and indignation of divine equity against evil. It is th
e holiness of God stirred into activity against sin. It is
the moving cause of that just sentence which He pass
es upon evil doers. God is angry against sin because it
is a rebelling against His authority, a wrong done to H
is inviolable sovereignty."
God's wrath
"whom God put forward as a propitiation by his bloo

of the one who has faith in Jesus."

For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain
salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for
us so that whether we are awake
or asleep we might live with him. "
