About the project
Talitrix is an application which is used by the Supervisors to track and
monitor the Offender. This app can be installed on an Android mobile
phone or a web application can be used.
Using this app, a supervisor can create different events to interact with his
offenders on need basis. The events can be as follows:
● Live Appointment: Supervisor can create an event to have a Live
Appointment with his/her offender using Talitrix.
● Photo Check In:Supervisor can create an event to have a Photo
Check in with his/her offender using Talitrix.
● Call Check In: Supervisor can create an event to have a Call Check
In with his/her offender using Talitrix.
Other functionalities such as immediate photo check in, immediate call
check in, chat and many other can be done using Talitrix application.

About my role
I got an opportunity to work with Talitrix Project with the role in QA
From 29th March 2021 – 16th JULY 2021
I joined as a intern in this company for 16 weeks of program in which, the
first 4 weeks we had presentation sessions, KT sessions, learning
sessions followed by 12 weeks in the project. The project is monitored by
the Team Leads, Project Manager and I’m the part of the QA Team where
my job was to collect the requirements, designing of the test cases, test
execution and report the status and to attend status calls in which I had to
update the team about my work on that particular day.

Abstract
Talitrix is a mobile and web based application which was designed to
monitor the criminals in the United States of America. He/she will be
monitored once his/her jail period is over or the person on bail. They will
be tracked continuously by a device assigned (GPS tracker band) to them
or the mobile application. The person is prohibited to some places which
are called curfews. There are 2 types of curfews, “Home curfew” and
“Work Curfew”.The person monitoring the criminal is called “Supervisor”
and the criminal is called “Offender”. If any suspicious activities are
performed by the Offender then the “Supervisor” can create events for
the Offender namely “Live Appointment”, “Photo Check-in” and “Call
Check-in”. In web app, Reactjs was used for the front-end and Django for
backend, the data was stored in Postgres database. For the mobile
application, Android platform was used in which Kotlin was used as
programming language.

Conclusion
I Conclude by saying that I learned a lot during this internship tenure of 16
weeks as I came to know about the work culture at IT sector and the
relationship of the team and maintenance and a lot.
I learned things like:
● To design test cases
● To execute the test cases
● To attend scrum calls
● Presentation skills
