A furniture designer is a professional that designs and creates
different types of furniture
Each piece of furniture that a furniture designer creates must severe a
few different purposes .First of all ,it must be functional.
It must also be practical, comfortable, and attractive
As we know that technology is growing at a constant rate and
people’s design preferences are changing as well .So these are the
factors that influences the future of future design:
Keeping It Organic: The furniture of the future will take us closer to
nature instead of getting away from it.

WOOD , it is common material for designing a furniture or we can
say one of the oldest furniture material
PLASTIC , one of the most budget friendly options which looks
better outside than inside.
GLASS – tempered glass is another modern material for
furniture design , few furniture are exclusively made from
glass.
CANE – cane is another material that has been used for
centuries , today it is relatively less common .
STEEL , stainless steel ,chrome and other materials are used
for furniture ,
LEATHER , leather is widely used for soft furniture upholster
ACRYL , It looks like glass , but is a cheaper option, and it is
more durable than glass.
HDHMR stands for High Density High Moisture Resistance. It is basically an upgraded
term of plywood, used to develop tough and robust wooden usage.
MDF , medium density fibre board Medium-density fibre board (MDF) is an engineered
wood product made by breaking down hardwood or softwood residuals into wood
fiber,
PLYWOOD , Plywood is that it’s a sheet material which is brought to life by combining
layers of wood veneer, which are glued together.
FABRIC, it is a softer and more practical material used for the upholstery

SITTING – furniture that comes for the seating purpose are chairs, stools, couches( used for

STORAGE– storage furniture is mainly used for store or hold objects ,such as bookshelves ,
shoe rack, wardrobe. Wall cabinets, etc.
SURFACES – surfaces furniture helps to hold object for us such as coffee tables, tea table ,
SPACES –spaces furniture are generally big and need some spaces . Such as bed , reading table,
dining table etc
MULTI- FUNCTION FURNITURE – office furniture are generally multifunctional furniture such
as workstation, cubicle , compact seating ,
