Introduction

 The main focus of the project is to computerize traveling company to manage


data, so that all the transactions become fast and there should not be any error in
transaction like calculation mistake, bill generation and other things. It replaces all
the paper work. It keeps records of all bills also, giving to ensure 100% successful
implementation of the computerized Bus reservation system.
objective

 The main objective of the Bus Ticket Booking System is to


manage the details of Bus, Ticket, Booking, Agent, Seats. It
manages all the information about Bus, Customer, Seats,
Bus. The project is totally built at administrative end and thus
only the administrator is guaranteed the access. The purpose
of this project is to build an application program to reduce the
manual work for managing the Bus, Ticket, Customer,
Booking. It tracks all the details about the booking, Agents
and seats.
Software requirements

The system has the following requirements:


 System needs to store information about new entry of Bus.
 System needs to help the internal staff to keep information of Tickets and find them as per various queries.
 System need to maintain quantity record.
 System need to keep the record of Booking.
 System need to update and delete the record.
 System also needs a search area.
 It also needs a security system to prevent data 
 The Software Requirements Specification is produced at the culmination of the analysis task. The function
and performance allocated to software as part of system engineering are refined by establishing a complete
information description, a detailed functional and behavioural description, an indication of performance
requirements and design constraints, appropriate validation criteria, and other data pertinent to
requirements.

Conclusion:-

Nowadays bus Agencies are taking important role in transportation and to make reservation reliable. They
need a strong system that will make reservation easier faster and safer. This project is designed to meet
the requirements of a bus reservation system. It has been developed using HTML PHP CSS Java-script
and database has been built in which is SQL. By using this application the company can provide
reservation services and information to the customers without the limitation of office hours or any
manpower. Not only does it let customer book trips around the clock but also to book from any location.
