The First War

The assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary in Sarajevo by Serbian nationalist Gavrilo Princip in June 1914 sparked a series of events that led to the outbreak of World War 1. Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia in response to the assassination. This drew other European countries into the war through a network of alliances. By early August 1914, Germany, France, Britain, Russia, and others were engaged in the war. The war eventually spread to involve countries in the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and saw over 16 million deaths before an armistice was signed in November 1918 ending the war.

Hungary also made a pact with Germany to support itself in the war which also
drew Germany in the war. War was spread to the other European nations because
they all had made secret pacts with each other .After this war started to spread in
the middle east and also in parts of Asia and. Africa. These reason led the other
nations to get involved in the war.

End of WW1

Germany favored the western side. Then attacked Britain and they
reply them back with very strong defense . They also tried to disturb
the trade between UK and USA (North America) . America did not give
up and tried to defeat them and on 11 November armistice was
signed and all blame was given to Germany.

Results of The War
World War I was one of the great watersheds of 20th-century geopolitical history. It led to the
fall of four great imperial dynasties (in Germany, Russia, Austria-Hungary, and Turkey), resulted
in the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia, and in its destabilization of European society, laid the
groundwork for World War 1. 11.16 million people died and 20 million got wounded leaving 8
million as war prisoners. Enormous destruction took place and European countries almost lost
all young men. The war led to defeat of problematic government. The economy drastically
dropped down. No European country was in good state.
